IDGs & Measurement
Many work environments live by the mantra: "What gets measured, gets done." Does this mean that IDG adoption @work depends on our ability to measure it? If so, is it even possible to measure Inner Development? Or does it risk over-simplifying the vastness of our human Beingness?

@Mark Vandeneijdne, thank you for the invitation to reflect. I love how this conversation is unfolding. In my coaching practice, I use measurement tools intentionally and with full client consent. I find the choice of tool depends on the objective: are we seeking measurement for articulation and scaling, or are we seeking personal accountability? For the latter, I often invite clients to choose personal creative tools they resonate with to build the internal depth necessary for rewriting mental models. I’ve found that a clear articulation at the outset is a powerful enabler; we must remind participants that we all evolve through time, learning, and lived experience. An assessment is never a static label; it is a dynamic tool designed to support one’s 'present self' in aligning with a 'desired future.' At the organizational level, accepting 'generalized' measurement provides the necessary starting point to justify the investment andβ€”most importantlyβ€”begin the work.
IDG Assessment Surveys
Hello All, I am working with a client on their talent development needs and am exploring using the IDG Guide to do a 360 degree style survey for the stream leadership teams. Looking forward to any best practices I can emulate. Thanks in advance.

@Mark Vandeneijdne Thanks for sharing the webinar with Arun Ji (Arun Wakhlu) - our IDG ICN community enjoyed his insights at our session with him in Dec '24 ! We discussed the importance of compassion, love, and interconnectedness in leadership for a sustainable future. Sharing the link for those interested, though I know you and Nadene have likely already seen it. https://youtu.be/okI-81byCBE?si=GJR6p08thcdG4vv2
