Speaking with other players/parents it seems that every one has rollercoaster of emotions and journeys. Would be interested to see how many have been released from academies or even grass roots teams and at what ages that was ? To help others any advice on what you did next or how this affected you ? Every one seems to want academy football, but how many realise how demanding it is for players and parents and understand the different pressures that brings to them also ?

For the trial game I lost 4-1 and I made a few saves but the pitch was shocking. My Sunday league went even worse for starters we had 10 players but 1 was injured. In the first half it was 1-0 to us but the sun got to me and I felt sick. I then let 6 in but we scored 2 do it finished 3-6 . It was an unfair match because they didn't take off a player to balance it out. I got kicked in the arm and I'm injured. There was 3 males playing for them but they are girls is this allowed?
