@Danny Dragone Very true, some times the writing takes a life of it's own, starting with the end in mind give you a path to stay on, until it shifts.

@Joseph Webthom I write Non-Fiction mainly.
Big Update: “Write the First Page” Is Now "Write the Next Page"
Hey everyone, quick update.I’ve decided to change the name Write the First Page to Write the Next Page. I realized the old name made it sound like I only worked with beginners. The truth is, I love working with writers at every stage — people just starting out, and those already deep in their second draft or third book. What I really focus on is the creative mindset. Building momentum, staying confident, and finishing the stories you’ve been carrying for years. This new name feels right. It’s about progress, growth, and turning the page on whatever comes next in your writing life. Stay tuned for something new I’m creating called Write the Next Page Plus. It will be a 3 to 6-month program for writers who are ready to finally finish their novel. I’ll be sharing more details soon. Thanks for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to see what we write next together.

Great move. Writing is way less about starting and way more about staying in motion.
What was it?
What made you decide to finally start writing your book, was it a moment, a person, or just timing?

@Danny Dragone I always wanted to write a book, so for me it was just figuring out what to write about. Once I got that, it was just a matter of starting to write.

Introduce Yourself
Hey everyone, I’d love for us to take a minute to introduce ourselves here. Tell us who you are, why you love writing, and what it means to you. Tell us some of your recent wins. This group is built around connection, so don’t hold back. Be proud of yourself. Share a little about what keeps you going creatively. And if you’ve got something you’re working on or want to promote, this is the time to do it. I want everyone here to feel free to talk about their work and the things they’re proud of.

Hey everyone, I'm Rich. I’ve been around the writing and publishing world for a while, I’m especially interested in how people here stay consistent, whether it’s writing daily, building momentum, or turning a finished book into opportunities. Looking forward to connecting and contributing where I can. There’s always something new to learn!
