#1 writing tip
Allow yourself to write badly. Don't critique. Don't spell check. Finish the story, warts and all, then polish it into something great. If you don't finish it first and edit after, you can't create your masterpiece.

First Time submitting
Closed mouths don't eat. It's something I've been learning to live by so I figured why not submit what I have. I have one story that I have been working on. It's been really fun to write so far so let me know what you think.

@Mike Gagnon honestly I just liked the idea of it. I had a comedy set up at one point about it but I felt that this was the better route so I just let myself write and see what happens. The characters decided this not me lol. As for film scripts no, but I enjoy the format and like to write that way most. Its most natural to me.

What is your biggest distraction?
What is your biggest challenge to attention or biggest distraction that you wrestle with when you need to focus and write? Mine might be YouTube videos? How about you?

Just knowing that if I don't write it, nobody will. My characters in my stories deserve something that is told, and I think that it is only fair that they get the stories to the best of my ability.
