Parents! 👋🏼 Maths Tutoring Made Easy ⬇️
Hi! 👋 I'm Renèe, I have been a private tutor for 6 years and a registered Primary School Teacher with 25 years, having helped thousands of students struggling in Maths and Literacy. While I was a full-time teacher, I started a Maths Tutoring Club, so it's been a passion of mine for many years! 🌠Parents and Homeschoolers with children aged 5-12 years - This is for you! 😊Join Homeschool Studio with me as your private online Maths tutor. The Short Story 😉 I became so busy with my private tutoring clients over the last 6 years (usually 8-9 each week, every term plus a waitlist, without even any advertising!) Although I really loved it, and got some incredible results with kids, it was exhausting. So now, I have put all this teaching experience onto Skool! Yay 🎉. Because what I found is that I was teaching kids the same things...Maths Basics! Even the older ones that were 11-12. I teach these basics in a fun and easy way, through simple games not boring worksheets or books, so that kids understand concepts better and they stick! Jump onto my Free Skool Community and introduce yourself - it's very new and growing with parents from around the world. Anyway - Just leaving this here and hope to see you over there! There’s a FREE course to get started for the younger kids. Renee Home School Studio

Why Creating Your Course Feels So Much Harder Than It Should 😩
Creating an online course should not feel like trying to solve a puzzle with half the pieces missing, and yet, for so many people, that is exactly what happens. You have the idea, the expertise, and tons of motivation, but once you sit down to actually build the thing, it starts to feel heavier, messier, and more confusing than you expected. That usually does NOT mean you are not ready. It often means there are important decisions underneath the surface of a good course that most people have never been taught how to make and that is what you are now encountering. I created a new free diagnostic called "Why Course Creation Feels Harder Than It Should" to help you uncover some of the overlooked issues that may be making your course harder to build, teach, or scale. Inside, you’ll explore: ✨ what may be making the process feel so overwhelming ✨ where your course idea may need more clarity or structure ✨ what kind of support may make the most sense for your next step If course creation has been feeling harder than you thought it would, this will help you see why.

Hmm...good question. I think it was actually figuring out what system works for me. But also just putting it out there without always seeking perfection. How about you? 🤩

@Shannon Boyer Oh right! Yes - actually making the time to sit down and get it done is a challenge! 😆

News and your kids.
Just dropping some tips here on how you can support your kids (and yourself) during these times of geopolitical unrest. The most stabilising message a parent can offer is not political analysis but connection. Parents can support their child by saying "The world may be complicated, but you are safe, and we will make sense of it together." Five things you can do as a parent. 1. Don’t stay silent. If you don’t start the conversation, social media will — and it rarely reassures. Teach them how to hide, block and report things they see on socials. Teach them how to train the algorithm. 2. Focus on feelings, not politics. Ask how your teen feels before explaining what you think. I guarantee they've mentioned this to their teachers - I've heard it many times in the classroom. 3. Protect young children. Under-fives should be shielded from frightening images they cannot understand. 4. Limit exposure. Turn the news off. The breaking headlines don't need to be on repeat around the dinner table. Reducing constant war content is mental health protection, not avoidance. 5. Be the calm. Your emotional steadiness matters far more than you realise. If you need support with this or need more tips, I'm happy to help where I can. Parents - are you frustrated while trying to help with your child's learning?
Your new online private tutor!
Hi 👋 I'm Renee, a primary school teacher with 25+ years experience plus the last 5 years running a successful tutoring business - which was in-person. Because I am a bit busy (as life is), I was about to quit tutoring and then I saw Skool. So, I thought I might be able to transfer all my experience and teachings to this online platform, so that way it is more accessible (and also more affordable) to more kids (via their parents). 🍏Anyway...I have just started and have a free community with a premium option of my lessons. These have helped thousands of my students over the years...so I hope this can help more kids that struggle at school. It's perfect for parents who have younger children aged 5-10, or older students of 11-12 who might need some extra help. I spent most of my career in upper primary school re-teaching all the mistakes made in the early years...so now it's my mission to make things right again. It's my mission to help parents help their kids get back to basics in a fun and interactive way! 😆 Hope to see you over there! Join me live for a weekly Maths Games on Thursday too. (I promise it's not like your old way of learning in school, and I make it fun). 🤩Renee
