Mental game started with books 📚 Bob Rotella Books about 2013-2014 read them understood them but didn’t really action anything out of them. I would just read them when my game was going shit, re read them and game would be calm then would go back to shit after time. Never understood it really. Then your pod cast with Ross got into that 2019 and then practice your tips and found them very helpful. Also your online course have done work with them, implementing strategies around them that has kept my game steady from 3-1hcp the last 5+ years. I need to be more disciplined with my mental game training as I have limited time on course, I don’t really work on my mental game enough away from the course. Attitude like well not playing for the next 7days or more pick it back up then when I pick up the clubs. Very hamster wheel my game and mental game very reliable but not enough to take it to the next level I should be building my off course training more ready for when the time comes to perform on course when I get that on course time.

@Daniel Crawford I had a close mate struggling with his putting. he started stack putting the app spent a few weeks on the putting green and on course doing the drills. They offer 7 maybe 30 day trial to test if that could help. He found it a massive help. https://www.thestacksystem.com/pages/stackputting?srsltid=AfmBOopPdY0L0maCp25jROm7ddAjXFBgaQDIQgu7V4yDQ0sNtRRkLWpR

This reframing with the optimistic approach towards his game is so 🧠💪 , feeding it pure fuel to perform. Crushing doubt and fear without a pessimism outlook at the his game like kwon and tooms.

Let me know your thought's and any more ideas towards this concept if it’s possible to help golfers in anyway. Some golfers a very visual learners so not sure how this would come across as content to learn or if it’s possible to explain short form videos or sentences. Like the movie Days of thunder when he is learning the car on how to drive it without burning up his tyres in the race. 500 laps the drivers way and 500 laps the crew chiefs way. One set completely trashed and the other still looking like new. My idea is have it with 1-3 holes the golfers way that has the issues or triggers with a bad shot, unlucky break negative self talk, doubts over a shots. Uncomfortable and uncommitted all the things golfers do without knowing. Vs 1-3 holes mental mastery way The Three C’s score card Positive self caddie talk Committed targets, pre and post shot routine, Reaction to great shots vs a miss opportunity ie shot that missed its target that puts the player under pressure to perform the next shot Please feel free add more to this list as it’s all great advice and material we have all learnt and want to keep learning so we can get the best out of our game.
How do you respond to mistakes & moments of feeling like 💩
Brain Fart's and challenging moments are part of every round of golf. How do you typically respond?? Drop a comment below ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

I like to think of them as a kick start not a brain fart, Playing many rounds under score anxiety, when it kicks in on the 13th and u want the round to finish on that score your currently on, then 💩 the on the 15th hole and finished way over par or over your HCP. 😩😩 Golfers worst nightmare and fear we all carry. I use "Ctrl+Alt+Del walking from that green to the tee - time to reset and bounce back to erase the error that happen in the past or just not make the same mistakes twice, not to compound the first error. After working on my emotional reactions to brain farts, like working on wiping your feet, not walking it around will get the game back on track in one swing like the next tee shot, not take 2-3 holes of 💩💩💩 like most take to fix a brain fart. By that time your round has been blown up.
