Have an enjoyable MLK holiday

While running an errand yesterday, I stopped in at one of my favorite little vintage shops and picked up a few new (used) ties. I was looking for some colors I don't have yet to round out my collection, and among those colors is purple. My criteria is strict: silk material, no tears or snags, stains, nor obnoxious, overly novel patterns. I chose to wear my Jack Victor super 120s wool suit as the base for this tie, and also a burgundy odd vest. To maintain cohesion and suited formality, I chose not to add in too many other colors or patterns, as it can be a bit difficult to pair an odd vest with a suit. The outfit was finished with burgundy tassel loafers from Allen Edmonds, burgundy watch, blue pocket square, and camel colored wool overcoat.

Celebrating my mother in law birthday this afternoon! Collars and Co Light grey quarter zip if Collars and Co Navy polo. Dark wash Vertx jeans with brown Anson belt with silver buckle and brown Justin boots. Vincero S2 Chronograph green dial watch and Tom Ford oud wood! Almost forgot to mention wearing my Timberland Navy jacket as in the 40s this morning.

I got some new things from OTAA as part of my collaboration with them. SO I have put a couple of them into this WFH outfit, though I did have an early 0700 meeting with at the office. That meant I had to stop at the ;local cafe on the way have and grab my usually coffee with an extra shot of coffee in it and some Banana Bread for sustenance. Todays outfit consist of: M.J.
