Mine are two-fold. I love the first 2-3 hours in the morning at work. But after everyone goes to bed, I go into my YouTube studio and work on my projects. I stay up late working on work stuff, projects for my volunteer position with ASSP, and any videos I’m working on. I don’t need/get much sleep. 🤓

I am flying home after being asked to present TWICE at the Ohio Safety Congress and Expo in Columbus. Both sessions were very well attended. Furthermore my second presentation (Getting over your fears of public speaking) was in the largest ballroom and it was livestreamed. There must have been close to 450-500 attendees in the room. I have no idea how many were on the livestream. Second win of the week, I just received my finished leadership book back from my publisher. It is getting so close to being published. Super excited.

@Hala Taha It is a Leadership book chronicling the lessons learned over the last 28-years in management and leadership. I’m in the final edit and cover artwork approval process. I’ll let you know when it gets published.

I’m hosting a private gathering for podcasters and YouTube creators in Austin this Sunday during SXSW ...and I’d love to meet some of you there. I’m teaming up with Seth Silvers, founder of Story On, one of the top podcast production and strategy agencies for brands. Between Seth running Story On and me leading YAP Media and hosting Young and Profiting, we spend a lot of time thinking about what’s actually working in the podcast industry right now. So instead of another loud networking event, we decided to create something different. This is a curated, invite-only evening for established creators to connect, share ideas, and talk honestly about what’s working, what’s shifting, and where podcasting and YouTube are headed next. I haven’t even started my podcast (still trying to figure out HOW I’m going to do it). I’ll be driving 18 hours to Temecula, CA for spring break to visit my family. Thanks for the invite though. ❤️

@Hala Taha I can’t just list one but if I had to it would be, “The Secret to a Good Meeting Is the Meeting Before the Meeting.” It’s all about the preparation. After that one here are the others: 1️⃣ Don't Send Your Ducks to Eagle School. 2️⃣ People quit people, not companies. 3️⃣ Those Who Start the Journey with You Seldom Finish with You. 4️⃣ The Toughest Person to Lead Is Always Yourself. 5️⃣ Never Work a Day in Your Life. It is just FULL of great leadership moments. I even used many of the things I learned from his book to help me write my first leadership book (coming out soon). 😉
