The Private Preview stage is now complete (thanks to the 10+ of you that have been testing it!), so now it's time to share it with the world 🎉🥳 So what exactly is Fabric Dojo? Fabric Dojo is a brand-new community I am launching here on Skool, to train the next (first?) generation of Fabric Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers. The community is 100% hands-on, with new tutorials, projects and challenges each month. Over time, you'll gain the skills and practical experience you need to feel confident and competent building robust analytical systems in Fabric. Create a New Lakehouse. 2. Get data into the Lakehouse using various methods of data ingestion such as Shortcut, Data Pipeline, DataFlow, and File Upload. 3. Perform Data Modelling. 4. A new (long awaited) feature has been released, but we are still waiting for a official release blog - but here is a documentation page for the feature. It's the ability to create Schemas in a Lakehouse! Traditionally, it was only the Data Warehouse you could create schemas. But now it's possible in the Lakehouse too. This opens up a lot of different possible architectural patterns! Have a play around and see what you think. When you create a new Lakehouse, you will have the option to select 'Lakehouse Schemas'. Then, when you open your Lakehouse, you will see a few new options: - New schema - New schema shortcut (interesting!)

Is it me or something has changed recently with Data Activator or I am not understanding the current capabilities of Data Activator? All the documentation I've seen in the past like https://datacrafters.io/blogs/working-with-data-activator-in-microsoft-fabric/ and https://youtu.be/qrCmTCWuluk?si=v_65Duj5jX3J8Wsx says you can use the "Set alert" on a power bi report to setup a data activator reflex and create alerts. Does the power bi underlying report have to be based on a some sort of a streaming dataset? Can it be just a regular semantic model? I've setup some data quality notebooks and pipelines to write data validation results to a delta table in a Fabric lakehouse. A Power bi semantic model is then created on top of this where a report is run. I cannot seem to find the "set alert" option on the report.
