Help
👋 Hi everyone! I’m working on my thesis, which will be based on Microsoft Fabric, and I’m looking for interesting ideas! 😊I need to choose a domain and a dataset to analyze using Microsoft Fabric. Currently, I’m considering exploring health data across different countries (e.g., life expectancy, healthcare spending, disease incidence, etc.). However, I’m open to other suggestions and domains if I come across something equally fascinating or innovative. Do you have any ideas or recommendations for interesting domains and datasets? Also, what complex analyses or advanced features do you think I could include to make the most of Microsoft Fabric’s capabilities? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Thank you! 🙌

@Will Needham Thank you very much for the suggestion, I appreciate the help! I'm interested in exploring the datasets from Our World in Data. Any advice on how to effectively use these datasets in Microsoft Fabric would be very valuable to me.

@Antony Catella Thank you very much for the suggestions! I appreciate the recommendation regarding the datasets on Kaggle, and I agree that working with "dirty" data can be very educational. As for my preferences, I am more inclined towards programming in Python and I enjoy creating reports in Power BI. Additionally, the concept of real-time intelligence is extremely interesting to me, and I would like to delve more into this area. Once again, thank you for your help and advice!
DP-600 cleared
Glad to share am also a ‘Fabricator ´. If you’re still preparing watch out for questions on deployment pipelines. Questions can be very tricky. I tried using Microsoft Documentation to clear my doubts on review questions but it wasn’t helpful (especially if you don’t know exactly where to search). I ended up wasting my extra 18 minutes fruitlessly. I managed to score 850 points though. The exam is tough but not impossible.

Passed DP-600 :-)
Hello everyone...I passed the exam yesterday with a score of 758. Thanks @Will Needham for the awesome community and resources you have shared on YouTube and on this portal. Those are very crisp and clear. I can say it was bit tough for me as I am from data engineering and couple of tricky questions are from PowerBI. The major set of questions: - 3 questions on KQL - 3-4 questions on SQL - No questions on Spark - 1 question on DAX - 2 equations based on Fabric UI (Where to get what and how to do it) - PowerBI config files for version control - 2-3 questions from the Practice tests on MS learn - The rest of the questions are scenario-based The MS Learn helped me to answer 2-3 questions. Be vigilant if you have case study question as the last question of exam. Initially it shown 57 questions which I ignored. When exam has started it shown 50 questions. The 7 questions were part of 50th question. I realized this when only 5 mins were left. Overall it was a bit challenging! Thanks again everyone for sharing your experiences and @Will Needham to bring us all together on this Fabric enthusiasts forum.

PASSED DP-600 AlhmaduLILLAH
I Passed DP-600 Exam on 26 Dec, 2024. Exam was very difficult. - My advice is dont use MS learn in the middle of exam, use at the end especially for programming languages (M, DAX, SQL Functions, Pyspark) related quizzes. For other types of questions a lot of time is wasted scanning the article for particular info. - Dont leave any question unanswered for later on review, for those quizzes just tik any possible answer and mark for review so that if any glitch happens or exam time ends, you may get few useful marks necessary for crossing the minimum passing score. - On exam day, use Fabric's every feature atleast once including all settings and screens
