If you're heading to Bali for meditation and breathwork, these are some of the better-known locations: 📍 The Yoga Barn – Ubud, Central BaliProbably the most famous wellness centre in Bali. Daily meditation, breathwork, yoga, sound healing, and workshops. 📍 Pyramids of Chi – Ubud, Central BaliKnown for breathwork sessions, sound healing, and consciousness-focused events. Unique pyramid-shaped meditation spaces. 📍 Bali Silent Retreat – Penatahan, Tabanan Regency (about 90 minutes west of Ubud)A beautiful rural retreat focused on silence, meditation, mindfulness, and nature. 📍 Blooming Lotus Yoga – Ubud, Central BaliOffers yoga, meditation, breathwork, and personal development retreats. 📍 Samyama Meditation Center – Ubud, Central BaliMeditation, self-inquiry, mindfulness, and consciousness exploration. 📍 Udara Bali – Seseh, near CangguBreathwork, yoga, meditation, sound healing, and wellness programs close to the coast. 📍 Oneworld Retreats – Ubud, Central BaliHosts a range of wellness and meditation retreats throughout the year. Personally, if it's your first trip, I'd stay in Ubud and use it as a base. Most of Bali's meditation, healing, breathwork, and transformational retreats are concentrated there, and it's easy to visit several centres before deciding which approach resonates most with you.

I am in the U.K. as well (Nottingham) , we see people that have been involved with trauma . Obviously this is something you have to be really careful about, in extreme situations we have touched on past life regression, trauma from another life or lives. So with Bali , you have to be really careful, Some do, but it's worth doing very careful research. Many of the mainstream wellness centres in Bali focus on meditation, breathwork, yoga, sound healing, and personal development rather than psychedelic work. There are retreats and facilitators in the region that offer psychedelic or plant medicine experiences, often with a trauma-healing focus, but the quality, safety standards, screening procedures, and integration support can vary significantly.‼️‼️ If trauma healing is the primary goal, I'd personally look for somewhere that combines: • Thorough pre-screening• Experienced facilitators• Trauma-informed support• Structured integration before and after the experience• A strong safety record The integration side is often just as important as the journey itself. You may also find that some intensive breathwork retreats can produce surprisingly deep emotional processing without involving psychedelics at all. If you're planning a 30-day trip, Bali certainly gives you enough time to explore different approaches and find something that feels right rather than rushing into the first option you come across.

90th Insight 🎉
A shift, a change, a bit of space to expand into. Grateful, appreciative, relieved. Capable. This process has lead me to a greater confidence in my ability to handle stress. A deeper resilience in myself. I’m thankful to look back and see the growth. Final day of my goal for regularly posting insights from my daily practice. I’m proud I made it this far 🎉 Day 90

Congratulations on Day 90. I like the emphasis on consistency rather than perfection. Looking back and recognising our own growth is something we often forget to do, yet it's one of the strongest foundations for lasting confidence. Wishing you every success on the next part of the journey.
Insight
The fear of being visible, of being seen. The fear of being an imposter. Wanting invisibility and yet standing the line of wanting to step out into vulnerability. It’s okay. It’s alright. The vulnerability has the prize of releasing old patterns. Allowing for a reprieve of safety in the unknown and a type of comfort in the discomfort. Day 86

I like the idea that courage isn't the absence of fear but the willingness to be seen despite it. Often, the smallest step into discomfort is the one that quietly changes everything.
