šŸ”„ Day 19: Stop Waiting to Feel Motivated
Motivation is an unreliable emotional state that fluctuates constantly. Discipline is the ability to recognise that you don't need any particular emotional state to do what's right. Finish this sentence honestly: ā€œWhen I don’t feel motivated, I usuallyā€¦ā€ Now finish this: ā€œWhen I act anyway, even when I don't feel like it, the result isā€¦ā€ Your task: Choose one daily action you’ll do regardless of mood. Post below: Name the action. For more on this, check out the Secrets of Motivation mini-course https://www.skool.com/brojo-the-integrity-army-6491/classroom/ab33c57a REMINDER! This 30 day challenge is not just a planning exercise for your year, it's also an opportunity to win $1000s worth of 1:1 coaching and other valuable prizes. To be eligible to claim these prizes, you must be a paying Premium or VIP member.

The one thing I'm committed to doing everyday, regardless of mood or motivation, is my morning journalling and reflection ritual
šŸ”„ DAY 15 – Discipline Beats Motivation
Motivation is unreliable - too emotional to depend on. Discipline is different; it's a rational decision to do what is RIGHT rather than what feels good in the moment. Answer honestly: 1. What do I wait to ā€œfeel readyā€ to do? 2. What would disciplined action look like instead? Then choose one reminder you’ll follow regardless of your mood. E.g. I will often ask myself, ā€œWhat is the best thing to do right now for my future self’s success?ā€ Post below: ā€œMy discipline principle for this year isā€¦ā€

My discipline principle for the year is ""What does tomorrow-me need from today-me?"
šŸ”„ Day 9: Design Your Day (Stop Relying on Motivation)
If your day has no structure, your emotions will make all your decisions. We know how that goes! Discipline is doing what you know you should do, instead of doing what you feel like doing right now. Your task: Design: - A minimum viable morning routine (10–30 mins) - A simple shutdown routine at night (The Morning Routine course in the Classroom will help with this). Include: - One physical action, e.g. exercise in morn, stretching at night - One mental action, e.g. meditation in morn, journaling at night - One integrity action (something you usually avoid), e.g. cold shower in morn, quality time with kids at night Post below: Your morning routine plan... and the thing most likely to derail it.

Shutdown routine (previous night): - Clothes ready (both gym clothes and work clothes) - Next day's meals prepped (or at least planned/walked through mentally) - Countertops cleared and cleaned - Pick up anything off the floor Morning - Pause & Visualize ritual (5 min) - first thing on waking - 5 min exercise (pull-ups, ab wheel rollouts, etc.) - Integrity action - Select and commit to ONE priority task for the day (I tend to scatter my attention across multiple "priorities") Most likely derail-er: Catching sight of something unrelated (like a corner of my pantry that "needs" re-organizing) and suddenly deciding that's the priority now. The antidote is to vigorously commit to noting and parking any ideas that come up. Once I have completed the priority task for the day, then I have permission to entertain the shiny new idea.

@Dana R it really does! Crazy how these little things make the start of the day so much more enjoyable
Practicing inner integrity today to get congruent
VALUES Goals 1. Practice radical honesty with myself and then everyone else 2. I don't try to correct people when they think certain things about me. 3. Dont laugh at jokes that I dont think are funny This is my aim today while at work.
