I'm running n8n on my workstation and as someone starting out in automation, I can honestly say that this is rough. I've got a little Python experience, but the only thing that keeps me from throwing my machine against the wall sometimes is that it's under my desk. Just watching videos from the beginning of the year, you might notice that nodes change from what's on the screen. Programming has taught me to have infinite patience when it comes to these things but AI constantly tests my patience day in and day out. Don't even talks to be about "vibe coding". I have to admit that when something works (finally!) it's a sweet feeling of accomplishment. I use apps that I create every day and I'm often fine-tuning them now and then. It really hits home when I realize that a few years ago I had no idea, experience or confidence to tackle these kind or projects. Stick with it even when you want to grab the hammer. As my sensei used to say, "It's all martial arts experience."

Do you guys have any tips for increasing close or booking rate? it may be interesting to hear them! If you reply to leads within 5 minutes of them reaching out — your close rate almost quadruples. Doesn’t matter if it’s a DM, cold email, Upwork message, or ad lead. Just. Reply. Fast. Easiest way? Pipe leads into Slack. Get pinged. Respond instantly. That's it. You can use Instantly's feature to connect your Slack to it or use a webhook with N8N or Make, it may seem silly, but big upside. Most people sleep on it.
