Payment
How are yall handling customers paying their bills? If I had a brick and mortar then a customer doesn’t get their keys until they payment but mobile is different. I have 2 customers I’m waiting 4+ days for payment. Have them final invoice to their phone AND email from Tekmetric. Had my wife who is my advisor reach out to them and they say they are going to pay but still have yet to see it post and it’s kind of screwing up my future business since I’m buying parts and selling/installing them on my next vehicle but I’m still waiting on a car from last week to pay out. I was trying to keep $1000 in business checking to handle the swing with buying/selling parts but looks like I’m going jump that up to $5000
For those taking payment on site- how are you managing the process of making the invoices? At the moment hubby and I are making the invoices together when he gets home, but now we're dealing with some overdue invoices *sigh*.
@Ben Dellaria when you were working on your own, did you make the invoice right there and then? On a laptop? Just trying to figure out how hubby can do all that on his own.
Where is everyone from? What's your specialty?
I am from Queensland Australia. We work on all makes and specializes in diagnosis.
New Zealand. We haven't narrowed down to a specialty yet, but we know we probably should.
Toilets ...
What do you guys all do for bathroom breaks during your work day? We're operating part-time at the moment so it hasn't been an issue yet, but hubby is wondering how to manage some of those basic needs when he eventually goes full-time. I'm thinking public toilets in between jobs.
@Ben Dellaria 🤣😬
