Gstack has leveled up my builds considerably!
This weekend I started using Garry Tan's Claude skill called Gstack. It adds several skills to Claude Code that helps with the design and build process. Right now the one I'm using the most is /plan-ceo-review and /plan-eng-review The CEO Review takes a feature or change request and looks at it from multiple angles asking "Is this really what we need or do we need to expand/contract the scope to hit what the user ACTUALLY is looking for?" And it's doing a fantastic job of helping me hash out all the extra questions I forget to ask. The ENG Review takes the same approach but it looks at the gaps in the technology that are going to come up during the build and it gets resolutions for them before the build starts. Then it compiles a comprehensive plan for the agent to build out. If you have time and you aren't using it yet, give it a try. It's significantly helped with my app quality!! If you decide to try it, let me know how it goes! Here’s the link to the GitHub repository: https://github.com/garrytan/gstack

@Tom Woolley Oh really! It must’ve gotten fixed this morning. I submitted a fix request using Claude Code and had it describe the error. They must have caught it on their end and applied the fix pretty immediately. I spent 2-3 making a Node.js compatible version with Claude Code, guess that’s pointless now 😅 good learning experience! I’m gonna test the update today.

@Tom Woolley I tried it and it still doesn't work. Looks like Playwright still 'hangs'. I have Bun installed as well.
The $8,500 Machine That Runs My Entire Business 🤖
Most founders are still doing this: • Paying hundreds every month for cloud servers • Paying AI companies for every API call • Paying SaaS tools for things they could run themselves Meanwhile… the founders who will dominate the next few years are building their own infrastructure. In our latest video, I break down Zeus - the $8,500 supercomputer sitting in my office that’s currently generating $48K+/month and running huge parts of my business. And no… this isn’t theory. This machine is running 24/7 powering: • massive lead scraping systems • email verification for hundreds of thousands of emails • multiple n8n automation engines • lead databases with millions of records • open-source tools replacing expensive SaaS All on one machine with zero monthly hosting costs. In this video you’ll learn: ⚡ Why cloud infrastructure becomes insanely expensive once you scale automation ⚡ Why Mac Minis and typical setups can’t handle serious automation workloads ⚡ How open-source tools can replace many SaaS products you’re paying for ⚡ The exact hardware specs and parts list to build your own system And lots more! If you’re serious about AI automation, lead generation, and building real infrastructure for your business… this video will completely change how you think about your tech stack. Watch the full breakdown now and see exactly how Zeus works.

My work computer has a NVIDIA RTX 5070, an Intel Core Ultra 7 265k CPU; a liquid AIO CPU cooler; 32GB of DDR5 RAM (can upgrade to 64 or more (?)), 800W Gold PSU, and I could definitely upgrade my SSD. Do you think is enough to setup this in a similar way? I’m not spending $4,000 to upgrade from 5070 to a 5090, hah. Thank you!

And all else I could get a cheaper desktop system and have my current setup be my “server.”
I Stopped Sending Looms. Replies Went Up.
Alright, I want to break down a strategy that used to work insanely well, stopped working for most people, and is now quietly working again if you apply it the right way. You’ll probably recognize this. A few years ago, Loom videos crushed. You’d send a cold email like: “Hey, mind if I record you a quick Loom?” They’d say yes. You’d spend 10 minutes recording a custom video. Send it over. Replies would spike. Why did it work? It worked because it felt 1-to-1. The prospect believed you sat down, thought about them, and made something specifically for their business. That’s the psychology. Now here’s the problem: Doing this at scale is brutal. Recording 10 minutes per prospect doesn’t scale past a handful of leads a day. So people abandoned it. Big mistake. The strategy didn’t stop working. The format did. Instead of sending a Loom, you switch the deliverable. Here’s what works now: You ask permission to do research, not a video. Something like: “Would it be useful if I put together a quick breakdown of your company vs competitors? I can send it over in 24 hours.” That’s it. What happens in their head: – “They’re going to spend time on me” And that’s the win. Now the real unlock: You don’t actually need to do this manually. With automation, you can generate: – mini audits – competitor snapshots – opportunity breakdowns – teardown-style reports All personalized, fast and scalable. From the prospect’s perspective, it feels just as personal as the old Loom videos. From your side, you’re not burning 10 minutes per lead. This is what I call a reverse lead magnet. Instead of giving away a generic PDF to everyone, you offer something that appears custom first, then deliver it at scale. If you want to see exactly how I set it up… Comment “Reverse” and I’ll break it down.
