Gym work outs ?
Hey! I'm trying to start lifting for strength and explosive workouts for bjj. could y'all recommend me some?

For explosiveness I like sled-push, differentiation kinds of landmine variations and like ball slams. For strength I try to knep it simple with squats, deadlift variations, benchpress variations and strict press/push press. Chins and dips are another favorite of mine. Plus bicepscurl variations cause who doesn’t want big biceps 😉
Welcome to Takedown U — Introduce Yourself
Drop an intro so we can all get to know you. Answer these 5 questions: 1. What’s your name + where do you train? 2. How long have you been doing jiu-jitsu? 3. How confident do you feel with takedowns right now (1–10)? 4. What’s the biggest thing you struggle with on the feet?(stance, shots, getting sprawled on, fear of shooting, etc.) 5. What’s one takedown or skill you really want to learn? Optional:Post a training goal for the next 30 days.

1: Per Karlsson and I train at Oaklake Fightclub, a small local club. 2: A total of 3-4 years 3: I’d say around 7, I feel that I just need to sharpen them and drill them but more to reach a 9 4: The set up, being one of the bigger/stronger guys at tha club I can always muscle them but I’d rather have proper skill and finesse 5: also the set up, and maybe a bit better timing
