Steps to a REAL Community
There are two types of Communitys here on Skool. One is just a marketing tool. A Community were the Creator just Post in his Content, and it just feel like you follow them on facebook. Then it has maybe a free course but basicly just exsites to sell to the members. And the Community is dead with low quality Post no discustions only a handful of member engage and sometimes there are valueble Post. IT IS NOT BAD TO SELL IN A FREE COMMUNITY, and if you think like that you will probably never be succesful. BUT when the Community is not a Community and just feels like another Social Media Channel it is borig as fuck for the member and there is a better way to do it. This is the second type of Community! A living thing with engagened Members were they help each other, the Creator is aswell active and Members share their Ideas and problemes. Engagement, high quality Posts, all Members have the simular Goals and methods, give each other feedback and call each other out. If you have engaged members that love the Communtiy and trive to be active in it to make progress and friends THEN you have a REAL Community! The crazy thing is, it is SIMPLE. - Be intressted in your mebers and Active. This is very imported! Talk to them like humans not like they are all you custumers! - Don't just Post videos and lessons in your Community. Open discussions and make Post were you encourge your Members to share what they know about a topic! - Reward and Acknowledge active Members ( I will make a specific Post about this aswell) TELL THEM I know it sounds crazy but .. when you tell your members that you want them - to make high quality Post - Share their Ideas and Problems - Help other people with comments - Make friends through Dms They will do it and your Community will be more active and more valueble to everyone who is active in it. (Wich will also resulte in more sells) This way your Community will be way more wholesome! So get to it and let me know what you think! If you have any questions my DM's are always open to help out.

@Holger Gelhausen Yeah defently. There are always people required that bring enegery to the Community and take time to engage in it and this will the minority in the Communitys wich is also fine (10 true regulars). My point is that I think every creator can take steps to make the Community grow together more and ecourge good behaivor. and @Stephen G. Pope this Post was not a critic to your Community. More like general thoughts on the topic of Community creation.

@Stephen G. Pope Thank you Stephen. I currently work with one Creator on a Community focus on learning animation. There our focus is now that the quality of Posts get better and that more members share their Ideas and knowledge. Wich is always good as ranking will go up aswell and the Community will just feel better for everyone. We will make a couple of Posts about that topic and then constantly remind them. So the topic was in my head.
Skool or Teachable
I am creating an online course. Now, where do I want to host it? I love the community aspect of Skool, but can it really host video courses like Teachable or Kajabi? What are y'all using? What are the pro and cons?
