Exam Lessons first, or tutorials first?
I have exposure to Data Factory, Power BI (did the exam a few years ago) and SQL Server (SQL Server the most), I'm looking to get my exam study going soon, but I was wondering if the more Fabric experienced of you could hint as to whether I'd initially be better off going through some tutorials first to make the study easier to digest, or would going straight to the exam lessons would make the tutorials clearer to understand?

Hi @Lori Keller well I don't have a mandate there, I guess I'd eventually take both so it's a case of knowing which one leads more into the other and go from there. Jeez, I had not thought about that. I feel like DP-600 might be best to go for first, feels like it leads on to DP-700. Would you agree?

@Lori Keller Thank you for the link, its going straight into my favourites! As mentioned above I'm going to take a good look at each exam and go from there. As I say, once I've covered off one exam, knowing me I'll want the set and take advantage of the crossover. Really appreciated your advice, thank you!
I passed DP-700 !
I took the DP-700 and I passed. Thank you Will for al the content ! The exam contains a lot of questions about (event)streaming and some SQL and KQL queries. Good luck to you all !

Well done, Oscar!
How you manage your study time?
Hello, I was just wondering how people manage their study time between work and family. Do you study before/after work, maybe you study in the evening til quite late after putting the kids to bed? Do you stay late at work and study after hours before going home? How do you deal with the frustration of not getting in any study for a few days because of life commitments? Do you have an arrangement with your family that study time is study time? I'd be really interested in how any of you shape or organise your busy lives around study time.

@Anthony Kain Yeah it sure does, Anthony! Once I get my backside in gear I might just arrange one, I think someone else on here was looking as well. I'm on an intense engagement atm, that does not involve Fabric, so temporarily Im making a slow start, but as long as I'm making a start there is progress. Looking forward to ramping it up though.

@Arjun Rao I think Will is only 3 or 4 videos in, this is something to follow for a few more weeks yet. You could probably watch the DP-600 videos if you become a member though.

Hello everybody! I'm an Azure consultant in Australia, I have recently got interested in Fabric, I actually did not know that it was an in-demand skill when I started the MS Learn challenge, then I found this place. Will be joining the dojo as it seems like no brainer. I'm currently just starting exam prep. In the past I have been a SQL Server DBA, I studied and passed the Power BI exam (though this was a few years ago now), and done some Data Factory work, seeing all these products I like in one place is was attracted me to Fabric and I look forward to learning it all here, passing the exam, and getting some Fabric engagements at work. Really looking forward to the tutorials and will do the gamified approach so I work my way through them in a good easy to advanced order, I also like a clear structured approach to learning rather than scatter gun approach whilst hoping I'm not missing anything! So, there we are...Hello!
