Have you noticed the giant leaps in AI models?
Hey everyone! Have you been keeping up-to-date with the latest generation of AI models? If you HAVEN'T, then I recommend checking them out - they are insane to be honest - I'm talking Claude Opus 4.5, Gemini 3.0, GPT 5.1 etc. Has huge implications for how we will work in the future. I'm just figuring out the best workflows for implementing these models in Fabric workflows, I'll share more of my thinking and research in the following weeks/ months, but I'm interested - have you been keeping up-to-date with the LLM updates? Have you been thinking about how to integrate into Fabric - let me know what you've found so far!

I've been using ChatGPT and Claude mostly. I like the output better in Claude, but I run up against daily token limits in the pro plan quickly, and I don't have that issue with ChatGPT. I've dabbled in creating multiple agents in the CLI versions, but have mostly been using Projects in ChatGPT. I have a project that takes a table profile output generated from a notebook as input, and generates staged MLVs after providing input/corrections at each stage. The project is handling 75-90% of the workload and formatting the code in a more documented and consistent way than I was doing on my own.

Fabric Unified Admin Monitoring
Hey everyone, there is another (unofficial) Microsoft project just released which unifies a lot of Fabric Monitoring datasets into one Lakehouse, and a report. It's called FUAM - Fabric Unified Admin Monitoring. Can you please suggest a metadata based dynamic pipeline on Fabric

@Mubaraq Abdulmaleek or @Will Needham Have you seen anyone talking about using a Fabric SQL database for metadata storage? All the references I can find mostly reference using an Azure SQL database, but they were all written prior to Fabric SQL being in preview. It would be nice to see an updated metadata workflow that uses only fabric resources.

I would bet this feature is only available without Git integration. It sounds like an awesome addition for those that aren't using CI/CD, but seems like it would break the general CI/CD process I stand corrected: - You can't access versions in semantic model version history outside of the version history pane on the web. For full source control with greater flexibility and support for more versions, use git integration, which can be used in combination with version history for the same semantic model.

Challenges in Cross-Workspace Orchestration for Multi-Layer Data Pipelines
We plan to maintain the bronze and silver layers in one workspace and the gold layer in a separate workspace for reasons related to maintenance, security, and capacity. However, this setup presents a challenge: implementing a master orchestration that includes pipelines from both workspaces. Currently, I'm unable to directly invoke a pipeline from another workspace. Is there any workaround available to address this issue?

Is there a reason you couldn’t have the gold warehouse in the same workspace and shortcut it into a gold workspace where you create your gold layer models and the like?
