If you're just joining, be sure to introduce yourself! 👋 I’m Michael. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. I spent 7 years in New York City, then made my way back to Tennessee during the pandemic. I’ve been training for over 14 years now, so at this point it’s just part of who I am. My favorite dessert is donuts 🍩 Glad to have all of you here. Let’s keep building this thing 💪

I am Reverend Paul Barton, Ph.D. I am pastor of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas, and former seminary professor. I am struggling to start exercising and hope to begin soon. My favorite dessert is Rocky Road ice cream topped with chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, pecans, and whipped cream.
11/60. “The Long Hall”
This long hallway in my home represents my fitness journey. This light at the end is the ultimate goal, there are several doors(opportunities) a long the way. The doors we choose can enhance or deter from reaching the goal which is health while maintaining our identity. To me having MD as coach has been the biggest boost to my fitness journey in years. I am thankful for his willingness to listen to an old guy and push me forward. This little challenge has been great and the engagement with all of you in this community has made it fun. Let’s keep moving down the “Hall” 😎

10-Day Consistency Challenge
Most people say they want to be more consistent… but when it actually comes down to showing up every day, that’s where it falls apart. So here’s the question: are you actually about it? 👊 This 10 day consistency challenge starts tomorrow, Tuesday April 7th. It’s simple on paper. Push ups, movement, reading. That’s it. But can you really show up and do it 10 days straight without missing? No excuses, no negotiating, no “I’ll make it up tomorrow.” 🔥 I’m doing it with you. I’ll be posting my progress every day inside the Movement Lab, and I want you doing the same.
