Gather & Ground Sunday 🌿
Before the new week begins, take a few quiet minutes to gather your thoughts 💭, ground yourself in what matters, and choose one simple focus for the days ahead. What is your one steady step this week? So far today, my youngest son and I have re-arranged the sick bay/coop for one of our injured hens and are getting it ready for when our chicks (just hatching now) get to go out to the coop. Of Course that's over 6 weeks out but we are excited. My focus this week will be: ❓Answering any questions anyone might have.❓ 🌹Fertilizing my Roses🌹 🌻sitting down and redefining my back garden area (Flower Farm) to be more inviting and less like rows of flowers.🌻 ✨Oh and don't forget to like 👍 and comment 🗨️ on this post. It helps bring the community up on the discovery page for others to find. ✨ One last thing, on Wednesdays I will be doing a Happy Hour Hangout LIVE, Come join me and just chat, it is just a community after all. 🥰

When I spray Neem oil on my roses for aphids, do they die and fall off or die and stay in the stem or rose? Asking because mine stayed on. Not sure they are dead without getting a magnifying glass out.

My focus this week is cleaning and organizing the garage…. Not that it will stay that way. It seems to need it every year. Wish I had a better solution for t organization for screws, bolts and nails. Drives me crazy when I’m looking for a specific nail or screw. Anyone have any suggestions. Let’s see pictures PLEASE!!!
Fresh Start Friday 🌿
Before the weekend begins, let’s take a gentle pause and reset one small thing. Not the whole house. Not the whole garden. Not every unfinished project. Just one thing that would help you feel a little more ready, a little more peaceful, or a little more grounded going into the weekend. Maybe it’s clearing the kitchen counter, checking your garden beds, planning one meal, gathering supplies for a handmade project, watering your plants, refreshing your flowers, or making a short list for Saturday. Today’s prompt:What is one small reset you can do before the weekend begins? Drop your Friday reset below — small steps count here. 🌿✨

I’m going to water my plants well after that huge wind storm dried the soil out. Also the storm blew out my under counter lighting so I will be installing new lighting.
What's Working Wednesday
Share one thing that is working for you right now, no matter how small. For me it was the cooler weather. I got some farm chores finished. I'm almost done with a small area for our new littles that should be here soon.

I know this was yesterday, but one thing working for me is having my house back after the kitchen flood. It took three months, and was extremely stressful, but I can now heave a big sigh of relief and relax my shoulders from all the tension I’ve been holding!
Day 3 - Choose one simple project 🌱
My Micro-Homestead project is growing sunflowers. 🌻 I chose this because I want to grow food for my chickens and wild birds.I already have 9 plant starts I just planted outside. I still need to help them grow big. By the end of this challenge, I want to feel like I am on the path to self sufficiency.
