How You Carry Yourself Changes Everything
One thing I’ve noticed recently when I’m active and moving regularly, my outfits just look better on me. Not even expensive clothes. Just basic stuff fits differently when.. posture feels better.. shoulders are relaxed.. body feels more athletic.. energy is good.. I noticed this especially after spending long hours on my laptop doing UI/UX work and trading. After too much sitting, I started feeling stiff and low energy, and somehow even my presence felt different.. Made me realize style isn’t only about clothes.. How you carry yourself changes a lot too..

It's clearly Spring here in Southern California. The highs each day are in the low 70s, the sun is out, and flowers are blooming. I asked my sartorial AI app to give me a Spring outfit and I think it worked. As always, positive and constructive feedback is always welcome and encouraged. • Shirt — DS‑042 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A CT Non-Iron Cotton-Linen Prince of Wales check in mid-blue with cream and light blue accents—perfect for Spring's warmer days. The cotton-linen twill blend offers breathability while maintaining a crisp, professional appearance. Classic point collar with barrel cuffs; ideal canvas for today's pink tie. • Undershirt — US‑010 (Ralph Lauren Polo): A soft blue cotton crew neck from Ralph Lauren that disappears under the Prince of Wales pattern. Provides all-day comfort without show-through risk. • Slacks — SL‑022 (Mantoni): Light gray Mantoni windowpane wool slacks with navy and light blue detailing—part of a 2-piece suit cut with clean, modern lines. The lightweight pinhead weave and slight sheen make them perfect for Spring, while suspender buttons allow for today's braces-forward look. High rise with medium break for a timeless silhouette. • Vest — VWC‑004 (Perry Ellis): A natural linen herringbone business vest in cream—quintessentially Spring. The breathable linen construction and relaxed herringbone pattern create beautiful textural contrast against the windowpane slacks and Prince of Wales shirt. Slot pockets and silver dual-direction back buckle. • Tie — NT‑047 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A pink silk tie with dark pink and navy polka dots—a sophisticated Spring statement that bridges the pink/blue color story. The 3.25" width pairs perfectly with the shirt's classic point collar. Navy dots echo the slacks' windowpane detailing. Tied in a Four-in-Hand knot for relaxed elegance. • Suspenders — SB‑005 (JJ Suspenders): The "Autumn Harvest" classic brown suspenders in cocoa with cream accents and gold hardware. Silk and leather construction with a Y-back design. The warm brown tones complement the chocolate footwear while gold hardware matches the tie bar. A perfect alternative to a belt for the vest-forward look.

Trousers to match the sky!!
After the rain has gone we have a nice sunny day with a great blue sky! After a long winter these trousers have come back out for the season. Luck me I must have lost more weight after last wearing them as they need a trip back to the tailor!! 🎉 Hope you all have an amazing Thursday!

SNOOPY! my favorite..the outfit looks great and did you use gym to lose the weight?
The rotation algorithm.
This is my plan for work wear (elevated casual, minimalist). I am required to be in the office every Tuesday. Khakhi wool chino, brown belt, and brown shoes (bi-toned cap-toe Derby) are the VARIABLES. Tan leather strapped watch is a CONSTANT. MAY 2026. 1. Light blue shirt for week 1, khakhi chinos, brown belt, brown shoes. (I did not have the algorithm in the first week, so let's assume I did this in theory). 2. Violet shirt for week 2, replace khakhi chinos in #1 with ivory chinos. 3. Burgundy shirt for week 3, replace khakhi chinos in #1 with blue dress pants. 4. Grey shirt for week 4, replace khakhi chinos in #1 with grey dress pants. 5. Royal blue shirt for a possible week 5, replace khakhi chinos in #1 with black dress pants (only in this case, swap the brown belt with a black one and the brown shoes with black ones). 6. Increment the order of the shirt by one so that for the next month, #1 shirt (light blue) swaps #2 (violet shirt) and so on and #5 shirt swaps #1 shirt. This takes care of JUNE. NO REPETITION. 7. Continue with the swapping logic in #6 which takes care of JULY. NO REPETITION. 8. Continue with the swapping logic in #7 which takes care of AUG. NO REPETITION. 9. Continue with the swapping logic in #8 which takes care of SEP. NO REPETITION. I am attaching the collage of the planned outfit with khakhi chinos. Please excuse me as I am not wearing shoes in this experiment (just too lazy to do it at home). I am attaching a different image of my shoes (with my blue dress pants) to make sense. I am also attaching three images where I have swapped the khakhi chinos with formal pants. Since 5 shirts each can pair with 5 pants each, the resulting 25 outfits take care of 5 months of office visit for me. As always appreciate your thoughts/feedback.

How i used gym to dress well and feel good
I didn't had dressing sense at all until i started going to university..i went with the same outfits i wore as a high school kid..and it felt OK at first but few weeks later i was feeling insecure about my outfits and more than that i felt more insecure about by body..i was overweight my entire high school and it used to bother me in high school too but i didn't take action because i was just a high school kid and not knew what to do.. but in university i wanted to change, dress better, look better and feel better inside not just the outside..so what did i do? The first step i took was to start exercising..btw i never saw gym when i was in high school..so i start exercising few weeks after joining university...i took gym as the first step because i knew no matter how good i dress...i won't look and feel as good until i get in shape few months later i'm in good shape and started dressing a lil bit better...but the anxiety was still there so i start researching how to lower anxiety...so i start reading self improvement books to level up..i start meditating, eating clean and cutting out bad habits.. few years down the line and i'm a completely different person..someone who enjoys working out, someone who has taste, someone who have a class.. so how many of started their journey with the gym and everything else followed? And do you still workout?
