Use Reddit to take advantage of Black Friday
Quick Reddit tip before Black Friday: Post a deals roundup thread in your subreddit. These threads rank fast in Google and drive serious traffic. I did this for crypto and SEO Black Friday deals - both ranking within 24 hours (see screenshots). You'll thank me on November 28th when the traffic hits.

CASE STUDY: I grew r/AISEOforBeginners subreddit to 100 members in 10 days
While recording my reddit marketing course in the module where I explain how to create, manage and GROW a subreddit, I created this subreddit as an example - r/AISEOforBeginners. I wasn't going to do anything with this, but 5 days after finishing the course's video editing, I thought - why not? The topic is trendy, people search for information, and there are tons of monetization opportunities. So I decided to apply same strategies I explain in the course. 10 days later it reached 100 members, some discussions got over 2,000 views, and most importantly I already got contacted by one SaaS solution in the area to be an exclusive sponsor of the sub. WOW, isn't it? Here's what I did: 1. Created a pool of secondary trusted users - aged accounts that comment mostly in the AI field for adding valuable replies to threads in my subreddit. It extremely helps in the beggining 2. Created subreddit with a major keyword in it "AISEO" so it shows up on top of Reddit search now 3. Added description name element "forbeginners" that works very well (all of us are still beginners in this field) 4. Made community look legit - added description, rules, widgets, all the styling elements 5. Posting daily with posts that can spark discussion 6. Engagement right away with user posting + clean up spam (there was lots of spam). This way the subreddit is not overspammed but quality discussions make people join 7. Organically mention in comments for fresh relevant threads - e.g., my comment on this post was viewed 380 times: https://www.reddit.com/r/Blogging/comments/1o8lmqe/comment/njvv8lp/ 8. Crossposting smartly in communities without getting banned for extra exposure - example 1: 885 views, example 2: 153 views 9. Organically mentioned in external sources where relevant - LinkedIn (e.g., AI SEO post and say "I've read in this subreddit..."), Facebook and Twitter

Want to grow your subreddit? Put your main keyword in the name.
While recording my Reddit marketing course (where I teach how to get leads, referral sales, and make money on Reddit the smart way), I created a test subreddit called "AISEOforBeginners" to demonstrate this strategy. I was simply targeting the "AI SEO" keyword. It's been one week, and guess what? When you search for "ai seo" on mobile Reddit, my community now appears as the 2nd suggestion! How is this possible for a brand new subreddit? The major key to success: Including "AI SEO" at the beginning of my subreddit name. I was also able to outrank broader, more popular (by member count) similar subreddits using the rest of my methods. Now I have 35 members just one week in, and it keeps growing. Want to learn more? Ranking in Google with your SEO thread just got to the next level
This one blew my mind when I first noticed it. Before it was typical affiliate SEO-optimized reddit thread for keyword "best mattress". But look now. Reddit serves up a thread from r/IAmA (Ask Me Anything) with the title: "I'm a Professional Mattress Tester. I've tested 453 mattresses from 99 different brands. Ask Me Anything!". Credits to Derek from Naplab (this guy never cared about Google Updates, check out his website and organic stats). Zero mention of "best mattress" in the title. But Google ranked it anyway because: - The content is dripping with expertise and experience (E-E-A-T on steroids) - The discussion in the comments naturally covers "what's the best mattress" - The authenticity signals are off the charts - Engagement quality is insanely high This is the new game.

Ranking in Google with your SEO thread just got to the next level
This post got 49k views from the home feed. Create controversial stories in your niche.
Everyone says to stay laser-focused on your niche. But I've found the opposite works better: find controversial angles in adjacent niches that trigger discussion. Christianity and crypto? Sounds like a weird mix, right? That friction is exactly what makes it work. This post sparked debates, brought 150 new members to my subreddit, and many are now converting into rev-share customers. Sometimes a "near-niche" audience beats a hyper-targeted one. They're curious, engaged, and ready to explore something new. https://www.reddit.com/r/OCryptoCanada/comments/1n1ml6b/my_pastor_is_now_demanding_crypto_donations_is/

@Jules Walker about 300 new subscribers to my subreddit, which means this person is interested in crypto. Each of them received welcome message where I refer to different crypto exchanges and I saw a spike this day in sign ups (36 sign ups for different exchanges in one day). All these are lifetime revenue share referral customers.
