Editing
My laptop struggles with editing in Captut. Lagging audio is a major problem for me. I record mostly in 4K. I’m looking at upgrading. I have always been a PC guy but I’m looking for ideas. Do you edit mostly on PC or Mac?

Intro from a Middle School Math Teacher!
Hello everyone, My name is Shekinah. I am a middle school math teacher. I create videos on lessons for elementary and middle school math topics. The video lessons are good for students, parents of young children who need a refresher so they can help their child, and teachers - as they can also benefit from using strategies shown in the videos. Hey Shekinah, your channel looks good and has the potential to grow large in a short period of time. can we collaborate and share ideas on how we both can get out channels to the next level?

I can message you directly if you are open to that.
viewer comment lost?
Hi there! Today I saw a comment that was posted 2 weeks ago (!) on my channel but I didn't receive any notifications. I went to the comments tab in YT studio because I wanted to reply to that comment but now I can't find it anywhere -- not in my "pending approval" nor "published", nor in my notifications history (when you click on the bell). Has anyone experienced the same problem?

@Clementine Chaxel Unfortunately, no — if YouTube fully removes a comment (not just “held for review”), there isn’t a place where creators can recover it. If it’s held, you’ll see it under Held for review. If it’s published, it stays in Published. But once YouTube auto-deletes it (or the commenter deletes it themselves), it’s gone for good and doesn’t get archived anywhere in Studio. That’s why strict moderation sometimes means accepting that a few genuine comments may slip through the cracks. What I usually do is a quick manual check every so often, especially after a video starts getting traction.

@Wendy Varner Good question. Managing comments yourself usually means reacting as things come up — checking notifications, replying when you see them, and trusting YouTube to surface everything. A “system” is just being intentional about it: knowing which tabs to check, how often, which filters are on, and having a routine so nothing important slips by — especially once videos start getting traction. Early on, both approaches can work. The difference shows up over time when missed comments, delayed replies, or inconsistent engagement quietly add up. Good question. Program Announcement January 2026
I don’t teach from theory. I teach from experience. And that matters — because YouTube Impact Code wasn’t created from what should work, but from what actually does. Everything I teach is something I’ve walked myself. I’ve followed paths that were misaligned. I’ve ignored inner signals. I’ve pushed when something didn’t feel right. And every single time I did that — things became heavy. Growth stalled.Energy dropped. Life felt harder than it needed to be. But here’s what I can say with complete certainty: Every time I align — without fail — I succeed. It becomes easier. Programs fill. The right clients find me. Opportunities open. My life expands — creatively, financially, relationally. Not because I force it. Not because I grind. But because I’m no longer in my own way. And this isn’t just true for me. I see it constantly with clients. The ones who fly aren’t the most talented or experienced. They’re the ones who stop doubting themselves, stop hiding, and fully step into who they are. The ones who stay stuck? They’re usually still fighting themselves. That’s what I want to teach you. How to get out of your own way. How to trust yourself again. How to build success that speaks to your heart and soul — not just your goals. Yes, you’ll learn YouTube strategy. But more importantly, you’ll learn how to embody the version of you who succeeds naturally. This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about fully stepping into who you already are. And when you do that…success stops feeling like a fight. 👉 If you want to join the next cohort, click here to join. If this resonates, pay attention. That pull is information.
