Hey everybody! My name is Nicole. The reason why I joined this group was for some motivation and support getting back into my health and fitness journey. The last couple of years-ish have been difficult and challenging for me, especially May 2024 to May 2025, and I’ve always had a tendency to put other people and things before myself and my needs. I’ve slowly been getting back to going to the gym but then once I start to miss to many workouts in a row, I feel like I’m off track and I although I want to go to the gym, I kind of lose the momentum to go or if it gets to late at night, usually because I procrastinate, then I don’t want to go anymore. The cold weather isn’t helping right now either. Even though I prefer to go to the gym in the morning I just don’t get up early enough which is something else I’d like to work on. I’m also an emotional and stress eater so I’ve put on some weight that I’d like to lose (probably about 10lbs) and I’d also like to get my body more toned too.

Vision board!
I'm a visual learner, I like to hand write my goals so I can see them in front of my face and stay focused on them. Vision boards have a been a fun, creative, and pretty way for me to have my goals right in front of me to look at, think of and dream about every day! I use magazines, had some things pop up on my IG and also looked up 2026 vision boards on pinterest to grab some inspo and things to print out and voila! I focused on 4 main things, my personal soul goals ✨️ physical goals 🪷 relationship goals💕 and career goals 👏 Have you made a vision board this year?! HIGHLY recommend it! You can even do it on your computer to have as your background if that is more likely for you to see every day. Go try it, snap a picture and share in here with us. When you say your goals out loud or share them with others, you give them more power 🔥🔥

I’ve always liked the idea of a vision board, I’ve never made one though. I’ll have to give it some thought and at least write down what would be on my vision board if I made one.
Bread- It's not that serious 🤪
Just had one of my favorite breakfasts a grilled cheese egg sammy 😍 I added some basil onto it as well and wow super good! Bread gets a bad rap, like people automatically assume THATS the demon making me gain weight!! And while yes it's not the best source of carbs, it's also not the worst. Let me hold your hand when I tell you this... You are allowed to eat bread!! 🤪👌 Now before you go eating a whole loaf in one sitting, of course this does come with some minor guildelines 🙏🙌 The type of bread matters, check your ingredients (if there's things in there you can't pronounce, maybe reconsider eating it 😅) what's the carb count per slice? (There's a lot of sneaky ones that are like 25 g PER slice, but you can totally find some that are 25-30g for 2 slices!) Do you have a gluten allergy? (Figure it out and go gluten free, your gut and body will thank you for it!) These are things that always go through my mind when I'm buying bread or anything that is processed with a nutritional label for that matter. 1. Ingredients first, the least amount the better 2. Check the macros so I can eat more for less 3. Check for lactose free, gluten free, or organic whenever possible. So yes you can eat bread, my rule of thumb is 2 slices a day mainly because I like to diversify my carb sources and not eat the same thing multiple times a day. This is the bread I usually buy, its from Costco, you get 3 loaves in a bag and 2 slices = 1 carb on my meal plan 👍 Are you a bread fan? Or have you been taught to fear it? Drop any questions you have below 👇👇

I love carbs in any form, haha. I’ll have to check out this bread the next time I’m at Costco! I love sourdough bread.
