For the Wrist⦠or the Heart and the Shelf?
Some watches are bought for the wristāmeant to be worn, used, and trusted. Others? Theyāre for the heart and the shelf. I keep coming back to brands like Grand Seiko and Credor. The polishing is immaculate, the dials are art, and the heritage is rich. I adore them. But when I look at what I actually wear, day after day, itās rugged tool watches heritage ā brushed steel watches. So I ask myself: do I love the watch, or the idea of the brand? Sometimes, a piece ends up more admired than wornāmore a symbol of appreciation than a companion on the wrist. What about you? Do your favorite watches live on your wristāor in your heart and on the shelf?
