I got myself a Strap Habit Tropical Strap in White. I am not a fan of leather, I just don’t like the creasing and how it looks after a few wears. Bracelets are my preferred strap, then there are the rubber straps as they don’t show the wear marks much and feel more comfortable to wear on my wrist. The Timex Q Chronograph is a little hard to get an aftermarket strap for due to the integrated look of the OG strap. I like the look of this one, just not sure about the empty space between the side of the case and the start of the strap. I may have to look for one that has a taper from the edge of the case.

The recent Spinnaker shares prompted me to draw out my Nessie for the day. Met with my CEO today to debrief 2025 and tee up 2026. Great conversation. Love the blue of Spinnaker and Nessie raising her head every 60 seconds. I got my new AliExpress watch in the other day. I actually ordered this before my wife bought me the Hamilton. Addiesdive AD2030 with sterile sand dial, sort-of homaging a certain Grand Seiko reference. VH31 mechaquartz movement, only a mineral crystal, but also only $50 on sale. 36mm case width, 12mm thick and 46mm lug-to-lug. 19mm lug width, not ideal but I'll live with it. 316L stainless-steel oyster-style bracelet with a milled clasp. Very thin and light. Overall a nice watch for the money.
