Last Meal of the Day
So my eating routine for today: Broke my fast at 1p. 18 hours after my previous meal with coconut curried chickpeas with veggies and cauliflower rice. This is my dinner: Potato salad with crunchy veggies, and salmon on top of mixed greens and avocado. Just a drizzle of olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon and a pinch of Himalayan salt and pepper on the salad. And cauliflower rice. Comment below what order I should eat this meal in. And does eating potato salad bad for a glucose spike?

@Folasade Idresse Yes! And if you eat it cold it stays a resistant starch. If you reheat some of the resistant is turned back to starch, but still has about a 30% reduction in a glucose spike. I made potato salad.

It’s pretty looking out the window.
Incorporating some simple movement into my life:
Everything counts, little things add up, trying new things and remembering old ones like: *squatting after sitting for hours *Yoga stretches and poses between "heavy lifting." *Deep breathing How do you get it in?

Love this! This is exactly how we start to incorporate movement as a part of daily life. Cardio and strength training are important, but, small changes lead us towards becoming someone who values exercise as a part of daily life.

@Folasade Idresse sometimes because your metabolism burns more glucose. But not since we’ve had this much snow. I signed up for Walk Away the Pounds. I use to do the DVD back in the day and lose baby weight. Now it’s subscription based online. It’s indoor walking with cardio and strength training. I also do chair exercises on YouTube. Easier on my knees.
Boundaries
Today I said NO 3 times. Like a whole sentence. I did bitch about it to someone helping me out and then course corrected, got on with my day. Winning!
