Seeking Experiences: ER+ Breast Cancer with Skin Metastases & Repurposed Meds
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a bit about my mom’s journey and ask if anyone has experience with a similar combination. My mom has ER+ (estrogen receptor positive) breast cancer with skin metastases, which unfortunately has become resistant to all hormonal therapies. Because she also has heart failure, her oncologists are not in favor of chemotherapy, so we decided to go in the direction of repurposed medications. We introduced Ivermectin very slowly and have now reached a dose of 48 mg per day. More recently, we added Fenbendazole (888 mg per day). Before that, she was taking Mebendazole, which we gradually increased up to 700 mg per day, but we lost our supply. In the meantime, we also started Turkey Tail mushroom extract, and she’s now at 5 g per day. I’d love to know if anyone here, especially those dealing with ER+ breast cancer with skin metastases, has experience with a similar combination (Ivermectin + Fenbendazole or Mebendazole + Turkey Tail), and what your outcomes or observations have been in terms of tolerance or results. Thank you so much for sharing and supporting one another 💛.
