We have been running a new formation for the last 3 weeks and it's something we've really been focusing on in training trying to drill the positions into the lad, During this the keepers have been doing separate training while the lads get to grips with it. Tonight we are going to add the keepers back in so they also get positional awareness when the game is in play. For the first half hour we will be doing plyometrics to work the keepers explosiveness. I will try to get some videos

Great win today against strong opposition from the year above. For 9 years old this boy is so confident and has great technique. He loves playing out from the back and it’s great his team mates have confidence in him as well. Some highlights from today including the goal he conceded, which was a rocket. The save at the end was tremendous, so proud of this lad and his amazing team 💪

Sharing a thought. I went from being the main keeper in my old club to a second keeper in my new one. It comes with mixed emotions, but I see it as a challenge—to improve, work harder, and prove myself all over again.

Just a bit of an update for Elijah! Match day was away for my sons team on Saturday, Astley Bridge Cyclones. Their team won 6-2 this weekend in their match with him gaining his 5th goal assist of the season! ⚽️🏆 proud!!! How did everyone else do and is there anyone on here, who are up the North West with us? 😊
