I guess the major theme with my approach would be self regulation where needed. I find if I am coaching someone remotely , it's tough to know/see just how they are functioning on a day to day or specifically with certain training pieces. Especially some of the respiratory infections. Maybe you work away from the heavier breathing work and focus on skills/strength for a few days. If they are super sick, obviously no training is the answer, but if they are still in the gym there may be limitations in regards to certain pieces, so encouraging the athlete to self regulate, make adjustments where smart is always the goal.
