Role Playing is VITAL
Ok guys I'm not talking about the freaky type of role playing come on I'm talking about getting in there every single day in the training room, and getting reps in. Why would you wait to mess up and practice when you're sitting with a customer? Like how does that make any sense. Doesn't it make so much more sense to practice with your teammates? People that want to see you win? See you succeed? Let's get training EVERY SINGLE DAY. And if you're not doing this. Holy Hell please start yesterday

What do you say to customers when they tell you they want to get a second opinion? Don't tell me what you SHOULD say, tell me what you actually say most of the time

This is something I’m learning and trying to implement but typically I want to ask some questions to do a little discovery. I’ve learned that people want to get a second opinion for 2 reasons: 1. They don’t trust you. 2. They don’t think the price of what you are offering matches the value being added. Asking questions helps me discover which it is for them and then I can lean in to overcoming that objection. Helping them discover that we are the best option for them through thought provoking questions helps them process why they are hesitating to move forward.

DO NOT SLOW DOWN 99% of Americans tend to get soft on a Friday, they want to clock out early they want to let their foot off the gas. GO HARDER be the 1%. Only 1% of people are out there really getting after it. What are you going to do to get after it today? I WANT SOME JUICY COMMENTS. SOME REAL ACTION ITEMS. None of that Bullshit like 'I'm going to push harder' NO I want to see things like 'I'm going to work 1 extra hour than I normally would another weekday'. Let me see those action items!

We’ve been talking about the 1% a lot and these are the things that set people apart at the end of the day! A lot of people think the 1% do one massive thing that is different than the 99%. I think that the opposite is true. I think the 1% do the seemingly small and insignificant things EVERYDAY! Those small things compound! Friday can be an easy day to take the foot off the gas! Today I am going to fight harder for the close and squeeze in some door knocks! While everyone else is taking their foot off the gas I’m pressing it harder!
Something I've been thinking a lot about lately
People are afraid of the word 'salesman' they think it has negative meaning. It doesn't. To me, salesman means that I care. And being the best salesman means I care more than anyone else does. Don't be the guy that goes to a job, fixes only what you were sent there to fix, and walks away. DIAGNOSE EVERYTHING. You have no idea how many customers I've been able to help BIG TIME by just giving a fuck enough to look around and show them other things that need to be fixed. Start caring more than anyone else and I promise you will have more success, you will have more job satisfaction, and you will make way more money.

This is great! Customers are looking for someone that cares enough to be honest and truly solve their problem not just put a band-aid on it!
