Everyone talks about discipline But the truth is… discipline gets a lot easier when your WHY is bigger than your comfort There are plenty of mornings that alarm goes off at 4:00 AM and my first thought is “man… I could stay in this bed.” It’s warm It’s quiet Nobody would know if I slept another hour But I know why I get up I’m not just going to the gym I’m working on becoming the man my family deserves The leader my team needs And the man my future requires Because here’s the reality… Time is the one thing you never get back You can lose money and make it again You can lose a deal and close the next one You can even lose a business and build another But time? Once it’s gone, it’s gone Every early morning Every workout Every sacrifice That’s all an investment into the life we’re building For me the why is simple My family My mission The people counting on me That’s why when the alarm goes off… I get up Comfort doesn’t build anything Purpose does Let me ask you something? What’s your WHY that gets you up when you don’t feel like it?

This morning I got a workout in with a couple of killers. Guys that push me. Guys that hold a high standard. Guys that refuse to settle. And it reminded me of something important… The men you surround yourself with will either sharpen you or slowly dull you. If you’re around people who: - Make excuses - Cut corners - Avoid hard conversations - Settle for average …it’s only a matter of time before that becomes your standard too. But when you get around men who: - Show up early - Train hard - Speak truth even when it’s uncomfortable - Build strong families - Run great businesses - Hold themselves to a higher code You start leveling up whether you want to or not. Iron sharpens iron. The right circle will make you: - A better man - A better leader - A better husband - A better friend - A better operator Success isn’t a solo sport. None of us get there alone. So take a hard look at your circle today. Ask yourself: Are the people around you pulling greatness out of you… or pulling you away from it? Choose your circle wisely. Because who you run with today will determine who you become tomorrow
