🎭 Why Romeo Is More Than Just a Hopeless Romantic
Students often see Romeo as overdramatic…But he’s actually one of Shakespeare’s most complex characters. Romeo is:💘 Emotional and intense⚔️ Impulsive and reckless🌀 Torn between love and loyalty🌙 A product of a violent feud he can’t escape Next time you revise him, ask: 👉 Does Romeo choose his fate, or is he trapped by it? 👉 Is he tragic because he loves deeply, or because he acts too quickly? These are the questions that take your essays from good to Grade 9. Here are the essential quotes that sum up Romeo's character — and what they show: - “O, I am fortune's fool!” → Shows his belief in fate and lack of control. - “Did my heart love till now?” → His impulsive, dramatic nature. - “Thus with a kiss I die.” → Love drives his final action. - “Here’s much to do with hate, but more with love.” → His emotional depth and confusion. Try turning one into a mini analysis paragraph today. ✍️🔥

Very true. He is driven by love (or rather by lust) meaning he acts impulsively and recklessly resulting in him acting before thinking.
