GHK-Cu: Topical vs SubQ vs Oral For Best Skin Effects
For research and educational purposes only. Not for human consumption. GHK-Cu is one of the most studied peptides for skin, wound healing, and anti-aging research. But there's a lot of confusion about HOW to administer it. Let's break down all three routes in plain terms so you understand what's actually happening with each one. The Three Ways GHK-Cu Is Administered 1. Topical (Creams/Serums) What it is: Applying GHK-Cu directly to the skin mixed into a serum or cream base. The idea: Get the peptide right where you want it—directly on the skin. The problem: Your skin is really good at keeping things OUT. That's literally its job. The outer layer (epidermis) acts as a barrier, and peptides have a hard time getting through it. Even with fancy penetration enhancers, absorption is hit or miss. A lot of what you apply just sits on the surface. To actually stimulate collagen and see skin benefits, the peptide needs to reach the deeper layer (dermis)—and there's no guarantee it gets there. Best use case: Targeted support for specific areas, ideally combined with another administration route. 2. SubQ (Subcutaneous) What it is: Reconstituted GHK-Cu administered subq, just under the skin into the fatty tissue. The idea: Bypass the skin barrier entirely and deliver the peptide directly into the system. Why this works: 100% of the peptide gets into circulation. No guessing about absorption. From there, it distributes throughout the entire system—skin, hair follicles, organs, everywhere. Research on GHK-Cu shows benefits beyond just skin: lung tissue repair, wound healing, anti-inflammatory effects, and even potential cognitive benefits. SubQ administration is how you actually access all of that. Best use case: When the goal is systemic benefits—skin improvement from the inside out, plus all the other researched effects. 3. Oral (Capsules) What it is: Swallowing GHK-Cu in capsule form. The idea: Easy administration, just swallow a capsule. The reality: This is where people get misled. Here's what happens when you swallow a peptide:

@Sassy Gurl C unfortunately I'm not a fan of the product. It says moisturizing cream but it's very liquidity almost like a serum. Im thinking of transferring into a pump like container.
😤 Renova Sale Update - Please Read
Good morning everyone. I need to give you an update on the Renova sale because I know there's been some confusion. What changed: The original sale was buy 2 get 1 free on R10 and buy 1 get 1 free on R60. I got word yesterday that they've switched it to 30% off sitewide because the original promotion was never meant to stack with the code DEREK. If you placed an order under the old promo structure, Renova will be refunding the difference on most of those orders. My honest take: I'm not going to sugarcoat it - I'm frustrated. This isn't the first customer service or technical issue we've seen from Renova. Products are still quality and people are receiving their orders, but the overall customer experience has been rough. Response times, communication, and now this mid-sale change. We're going to finish out this sale and make sure everyone gets taken care of. After that, there's a very high chance Renova comes off the site. I hold every vendor to the same standard, and when issues stack up like this, there have to be consequences. I can't control their tech or their support team, but I can control who I recommend to this community. The new 30% off sale is live on the website. The old BOGO promotion is done. If you have any issues with your order, reach out to Renova directly and let me know if you're not getting responses.

Derek, we can go anywhere and buy products but we stay here with you because of your standards which has gained my trust! If one gets away with it then others will think they can as well. We ride with you.... Delete!
How To Make Your Own GHK-Cu Serum (It's Stupid Easy)
I've been getting a lot of questions about topical GHK-Cu so here's exactly how I make mine. What You Need: - Hyaluronic Acid (2oz): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084X51ZPM?tag=onamzderekpru-20 - Germall Plus (preservative): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PKPQQQR?tag=onamzderekpru-20 - GHK-Cu Raw Powder: https://ionpeptide.com/product/ghk-cu-raw-1g/ (Code DEREK) - A small funnel - A cup or mixing container That's literally it. The Process: 1. Pour your 2oz of hyaluronic acid into a cup or small mixing container 2. Add a tiny amount of Germall Plus (follow the directions on the package - a little goes a long way, this is what keeps it from growing bacteria) 3. Dump in your GHK-Cu raw powder 4. Mix it like your life depends on it - you want that powder fully dissolved with no clumps 5. Use your funnel to pour it back into the original HA bottle 6. Done That's the whole process. No fancy equipment. No chemistry degree required. The hyaluronic acid acts as your carrier and helps with absorption, the Germall Plus preserves it so it doesn't go bad, and the GHK-Cu does its thing for skin/hair/healing. Store it in a cool dark place and you're set. If you don't want to make your own Throne has a great price: https://www.madebythrone.com/?ref=DEREK (Code DEREK) Questions? Drop them below 👇

"My RS GLP1 Dose Isn't Working Anymore" — Here's What's Actually Happening
For research and educational purposes only. Not medical advice. I get this question all the time: "My current dose of tirzepatide/retatrutide isn't doing anything. Zero appetite suppression. It's just not working." I hear you. But here's the truth — it's still working. Your body has just adapted to it. Let me explain what's going on and what to do about it. What's Actually Happening Inside Your Body Your GLP-1 receptors have become desensitized to your current dose. Think of it like this: When you first walk into a room with a candle burning, the smell is strong. An hour later? You don't notice it anymore. The candle didn't stop producing scent — your nose just adapted. The same thing happens with GLP-1 receptors. Here's the science in simple terms: 1. Receptor Internalization Your receptors get "tired" from constant activation. They temporarily retreat inside the cell to take a break, leaving fewer available on the surface. 2. Downregulation With ongoing exposure, your body may reduce the total number of receptors it produces. Fewer receptors = less response to the same dose. 3. New Baseline Your brain recalibrates. What used to feel like dramatic appetite suppression now feels... normal. That's because your body built this support into its new "default setting." Trust Me — It's Still Helping Here's the part people miss: You've forgotten what no support feels like. The compound is still suppressing your appetite and quieting food noise. You just can't feel it anymore because it's become your new normal. If you stopped cold turkey? You'd find out real quick what zero appetite suppression actually means. And if you've ever dieted naturally before, you know the rebound effect is brutal. Your hunger doesn't just come back — it often comes back stronger because all those signals that were being suppressed suddenly flood back in. Before You Increase Your Dose — Read This First When people tell me their dose "isn't working," my first question isn't about the dose. It's about the diet.
"My RS GLP1 Dose Isn't Working Anymore" — Here's What's Actually Happening
I am there right now. I've been on 7.5mg for 10 weeks refusing to go up but boy am I beginning to hear that Loud voice.... Hey you how about a doughnut or some Bo Jangles fried chicken 🍗. I looked at my diet and it's good in the sense of eating grill meats but I realized not enough fruit or vegetables. Yes many protein drinks. So thank you Derek for the reminder that diet carries me across the finish line of my goal weight!
