Isolation exercises should come after because they target smaller muscles, and once the bigger muscles are fatigued, you can focus better on shaping the smaller ones. 2. GO PAST FAILURE: USE DROP SETS TO PUSH BEYOND FAILURE Drop sets involve performing a set until failure, then immediately lowering the weight and continuing for more reps. This increases intensity and pushes muscles beyond normal fatigue, leading to greater muscle growth and endurance. 3. YOUR FIRST SET SHOULD HURT THE MOST: USE “REVERSE PYRAMID TRAINING” FOR MORE GAINS IN LESS TIME Reverse Pyramid Training (RPT) starts with your heaviest set when you have the most energy, then lowers the weight and increases the reps as you fatigue. This helps build strength with heavy lifts and muscle size with higher reps. Sounds simple right? That’s exactly why almost every lifter ignores it — and stays the same
