Hey Everyone! I am Haris, 24 year old young gun, working as a junior doctor in a tertiary care hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. Just graduated from medical school 7 months ago Gave my heart and soul to medicine 💊 💉 Was excited to work as a doctor after completing 5 years of medical education when REALITY HIT HARD.... I've now entered the rat race where I am accountable to my senior doctor everyday, have to clock in early in the morning, leave work when told to do so, handling patient stress and trauma, working tirelessly on call days (days where you're working more than 24 hours shift, you basically spend the whole night in the hospital looking after patients and leave the next day early morning ). No appreciation for hard work, No focus on mental health trauma we junior doctors face... See alot of pain and crisis in hospitals managing difficult patients Working in a broken third world country hospital system with least of basic medical health facilities.... Expected to treat and save patients with provision of scarce resources And to top it all, we get paid pennies Like literal peanuts..... Feel underpaid and overworked..... Feel like a cog in a machine.... Can't live my life this more.... Have educated myself on finances and entrepreneurship and realised there is more to this world from a 9 to 5 Hence stumbled on this Skool community and I must say ... I am VERY glad there is a community where we can have healthy conversations and SUPPORT each other in their venture! I don't have a scooby doobie doo knowledge about copy writing However have watched TONNES and TONNES of videos on copy from other YouTube creators and of course Alicia as well. At a point of life where I'm sticking to job for now less than 5 months until my internship as a junior doctor ends....(Saving some liquid cash in the process for my future entrepreneural venture😅) Shall be then leaving medicine for sure and start my copy writing journey Medicine has though instilled one belief in me that I can work hard tirelessly just like I did when giving difficult professional exams and crunching out those stressful OSCE exams....
