A buddy of mine wanted me to remix his song, which I’m turning into a heavy dubstep/melodic bass banger. Looking for outside ears on the melodic drop. Is it too boring and need more ear candy in between the fills/atmosphere? Or is simplicity key?

yo yo! I got a new remix I've been working on (since last night haha) and I think it has potential. I honestly don't even know what happening half the time because there is a lot going on but whenever I try to take stuff away, it just sounds too empty - would love tips on this (unless it's just me hearing that). Don't really know what else to say but any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

YOOOO, full project for my 1901 remix for Phoenix is out now in the PREMIUM CONTENT TAB!! This one is a cool one for you guys. Most of my newer stuff is 200+ layers and honestly it can be pretty daunting, especially if you are a beginner. This full remix had about 50 layers and still managed to sound super thick and epic. Seeing if anyone has tips, this is my 6th attempt at a master 😅
