1000 plays!
When I put out that In Da Club remix I honestly expected it to get like 50 plays and then barely ever get any again but a few minutes ago it reached 1000 plays (within 4 days of putting it out!!) which to me is a big milestone especially when that's the first thing I've ever actually put out haha. So thank yall for supporting, it means a lot!!

This is dope, couple notes I have The lead/chop in the drop is too loud, I’d deff sink that back in the mix a little The break seems like it’s fuller than the drop. It’s deff louder and you can see that on the Dropbox track but overall i just feel the breaks slightly bigger when it should be the opposite. Could just even be a matter of turning down the break a little

How do people post mashups
I’ve made a few mashups which involve stem splitting two songs and mixing them together, but whenever I try to upload to Soundcloud I always get hit with copyright violations. I’m not trying to impede on copyright and I’ve seen so many other songs on SoundCloud that do the same thing. How do people upload songs to SoundCloud that aren’t originals? Do I have to file a copyright claim? Would love some tips here!

Yeah so if SoundCloud flags your track for copyright (as long as it happens within second of you posting) you aren’t technically penalized but it does take it down. You can’t file a claim bc you are copyrighting haha. If it gets flagged months later that’s when SoundCloud charges your account with a strike The way around this is filtering it down but then it doesn’t sound good or make sure it’s 10minutes plus. Whether that’s white noise or replaying the edit multiple times. Reason is 10minutes in SoundClouds eyes is a “mix” in which case copyright doesn’t apply
