Some of you know this, but the last 2 months i was volunteering at a kids summer camp in Greece. I did not have access to my phone and it was a crazy 2 months lol. Somehow tried to stay up to date with music and quiet hours but it definitely got tough. Huge win for me was just getting through that and not worrying too much about the outside world. Hey everyone! Just was wondering for other people that make mashups, how do you EQ without the volume dipping in certain spots?? I have a few mashups where for one part of the drop, there is no vocal (the instrumental is playing at full volume) and then when the vocal comes in and I EQ the instrumental to make the vocal fit, I notice a volume decrease in the instrumental. Of course this is gonna happen because of how I'm getting rid of some frequencies but was wondering how people could get around this with less of a noticeable volume change. Thanks!
