Hey everyone! Just was wondering for other people that make mashups, how do you EQ without the volume dipping in certain spots?? I have a few mashups where for one part of the drop, there is no vocal (the instrumental is playing at full volume) and then when the vocal comes in and I EQ the instrumental to make the vocal fit, I notice a volume decrease in the instrumental. Of course this is gonna happen because of how I'm getting rid of some frequencies but was wondering how people could get around this with less of a noticeable volume change. Thanks!

hey everyone! recently got the stems from this song from two friends and started a remix. i really really like the break so far and want the drop to really stand out but ive just kept getting stuck. if anyone has any ideas / wants to try to collab on this, please let me know - and the file quality of this export is pretty bad so if you wanna collab again, just let me know and ill send you a higher quality version!! thanks!! - i would prefer it to be a little darker (more bass house-y to try to make it stand out from the original) but open to other genres too.

Hey everyone!! I have my last classes with finals this week (finally) so I can actually get back to working on music more frequently. But anyways, I recently put out a mix and wanna get working on the next one (so it hopefully doesn't take 4 months to get out haha) and I'm starting to gather some music for it and I'd love to include some music from some people in here!
