I read your article and that line about the container not fitting the contents really stayed with me. That distinction between form and function feels so important, especially for stories that don’t naturally move in a linear way. I’m in the middle of revising a nonfiction manuscript and keep running into that same question of what structure can actually hold what I’m trying to say. Really appreciated how you put that into words.
