WLC 29/11/2025
Today was something of a mental crash for me concerning eating habits. After some really stressful days (mentally) I didn't have the discipline and strength to do without snacks ... I simply lost control. This was one (big) mistake, yes, but it is not the end of the journey. You wouldn't slash the other three car tires because one is flat, would you? My restart begins NOW💪.
Weight Loss Challenge Update
I finally got to the gym today! We had a routine in Australia, gym EVERY day, focused on strength. For the past 3 months or more, our focus has been purely on strength. I beat my Strict Press PB and got the 36kg up, with the leg press, I got 300kg for 6 reps, and still had more in the tank, also a PB. But I suffered severely when it came to feeling like I could handle anything. In fact, in the workshop I ran a couple of days ago, I nearly passed out, never got that close to passing out. I feel weak because of it, as I usually can handle the heat, I can handle being uncomfortable, no problems with cardio. Anyway, I haven't done a darn thing other than work since I started. I started at 89.1; my belly is bigger now than when we started. But I lost 4.5 kilos! And that's with shoes on and not in the morning. Today, we finally found a good gym, got most of the other things done that we had to do when we arrived. So, now, I am focused on just increasing my cardio. I would love to keep up one part of the strength training, which is the strict press, but they do not have kettlebells over 20kg. For the next 2 weeks, I will stick to a simple routine of hang clean, strict press, and squat 10 reps. Rest as required. other side, then decrease the rest period as I progress. When I did my regular workouts, things like XERXES, I didn't think much of it, but now those workouts scare me. I NEED to get back to where that was the norm. I hope everyone else is making progress. Oh, and off alcohol. Still sticking to OMAD, which is the regular thing.

First I lost weight rather quickly... surprisingly... then I gained it back without changing my diet or workout plan but there were several nights with lack of sleep and days full of stress (both physical and emotional). Stress management has always been a problem when it comes to weight management. I tried out several methods to get more resilient but there are times when nothing works for me 🤷‍♀️...

my workout: 4x 10 tempo KB DL with 2x20kg 5 KB Swings 20kg (done as superset) 4x 10 single-arm bor (20kg) finisher with 8kg 3 rounds of (without break between the rounds) 10 single-arm snatches 10 clean 10 SLDL

Starting weight: 62,2kg Goals: - 61kg ... 60kg would be a dream - get rid of belly fat - 3 pull ups (I can do: 2 chin ups) - mastering double kb snatch with 2x 16kg
