After opening the account, I deposited the recommended amount to improve my approval chances for the Freedom Rise. Just checked the app, and the card is now officially approved and available. Current setup: - Checking account (NRA) - Chase freedom rise credit card with a $600 limit For anyone starting from zero in the US (no credit score, no history), this is a solid first step to begin building credit. One thing to note: 👉 It’s still not letting me add the credit card to Apple Pay, so I’ll likely have to wait until the physical card arrives and activate it first. Big takeaway: 👉 Funding your account early can actually make a difference in getting approved. Overall, pretty smooth process with Chase Bank so far. So I've recently added my capital one to my Apple Pay, and wanted to ask if there's any problem using it abroad. I had domestic spending on my trip to the US, so it won't be 100% abroad. Do you guys reckon if im going to have any problem? My chase card has a 3% foreign fx fee, so I'd love to use my cap1 to avoid that. If it's risky using my cap1, I'll stick to chase + relay debit, since the relay card doesn't have any foreign fx fees. Hope y'all can help me

Hello everyone, Has anyone here successfully open a Chase checking account or credit card by using Tello or some kind of insurance policy as proof of address? I have brand new BofA and Wells Fargo checking accounts but i can't generate bank statements as they are too new.

Hey everyone, This morning i went to a Wells Fargo branch in New York to open a checking account and apply for the no annual fee Autograph card. The banker used my Australian passport and Capital One bank statement as ID verification items. She was actually looking up my residential address on Google Images! ( That was a bit nerve wrecking! 😅) Luckily i managed to open the checking account and got the credit card application approved. ( My credit limit is 3k ) I also deposited $1600 into the checking account. The banker was very helpful and friendly. She helped me set up both cards into my Google Wallet. Just to let everyone know that the card version in Wallet only allows me to spend 1.8k instead of the full amount of 3k ( The credit limit amount is limited until i verify it after receiving the physica card. Oh, Textnow numbers can't receive Wells Fargo OTPs. Only Tello can. I highly recommend this banker below and the branch :) PS : Actually, this is her old branch. The new branch is at 1350 Broadway NYC.
