Jamie was hard at it again today. Unfortunately the score line was not in their favour once again 🫣. I'm just looking for opinions his coach has told him he is not to take goal kicks as this something he is working to improve. But he trains in a games hall in winter with no mats, and is being told he is not allowed to take goal kicks another player is to take all corners, all goal kicks, free kicks and any penalties. My argument is he is not allowed to kick indoors or at matches when can he improve his kicks? Other than we I take him out. Is this normal practise?

Freya played her heart out today and earned herself parents player trophy at the end of the game. She put in some absolutely fantastic saves and I couldn't be prouder of her for holding her nerve and being solid during the game despite a number of balls hitting the back of the net. We went through three pairs of gloves 😂😂. You can't beat a little superstar running over in the short break and a mad rush to try and change them over. She was a little bit upset at the end by the goals that went in but the way the game played out and how some of the goals were scored today made for an absolutely fantastic car journey home conversation. She was so focused on listening and already worked out what we need to work on. End score 8-6 to the opposition but a great game. Dropped a photo in of her making a dive going towards the lower corner. Also heard the opposition parents at the end saying how good she is and how they always have a battle to get the ball past her in the games. They were so happy for her when they saw her get a trophy for her efforts. This is how it should be at a young age.

Great game today for grassroots club. Clean sheet too in a 8-0 win.

Finally we played today! After rough few weeks of either games cancelled or Finley being unwell with chest infection. We WON 2-1 lovely way to finish, now to enjoy Xmas break. Finley got opposition player of the Match , he seems to think it was his new lucky beanie. P.s grinch is a paid actor 😂

Watching Ethan grow in his ability as a keeper has been great. Seeing him stop this 1 v 1, with confidence, as this was against a team 2 years older than he was, and quickly recovering to stop the follow up is a testament to the hard work he is putting in.
