Like you, I don't do strict cardio anymore. I always start my workout with 3 hard minutes on the rowing machine, which spikes my heart rate. As you said, shorter breaks, higher reps and I regularly do supersets, that leaves me pretty puffed. I walk to the gym 2-3 times a week (weather dependant), brisk walk on the way there, normal pace on the way home. That's about 6000 steps. Probably could do more but I'm ok with that. Weight wise, I've dropped a few kgs, but my wife and I are both good cooks; we make rpretty healthy food but, due to my enjoyment of said food, I'm at a place where I now lose a kg, gain a kg...........There's gotta be some enjoyment in life besides the gym
