Story Hack; The Shot-Reverse Shot
Adding dialogue is an inevitability as a sequential storyteller, so let’s talk about the most common method, the ‘Shot, Reverse-Shot’. For more story and art hacks check out the Art Hacks course in the classroom! This is just a snippet of what I go through in my 90-Day Comic Course 👀

Great advice!
Monster Mayhem Holiday Special; The Yeti ❄️
Time for a holiday special of my Monster Mayhem videos. I wanted to focus on the yeti, since it’s the most winter-y of all the monsters, and I loved the Rudolf special when I was a kid, but Bumble freaked me out.

Creating a Comic Traditional vs Digital Pros and Cons
I think this is an important topic for both rookies and pros. Speed is a key component of hitting a deadline and ease of use and access for digital has never been better BUT Paying the bills and saving for the future is very important. Digital artist won’t be able to sell the original pages of their work. Which is a big trade off Francis Manapul has a YouTube video in which his agent estimated his original art from his work on the flash would have been worth over 100k. But it was done all digital and he had none of it to sell. Because of that and social media content which it seems traditional content gets more attentions, I’m planning on transitioning to mostly traditional work overall. Has anyone else given this deep thought?

For commercial deadline work, the only way to compete is to work digitally. For commissions and personal projects with no deadlines, traditional is better.

@N. Colin Dyer: That's fair. I know some professional concept artists who have told me that if they couldn't digitally kitbash they wouldn't be able to keep working in the industry because of shorter and shorter deadline expectations. I guess it all depends on what you are more comfortable with. I've been doing digital so long that I am much faster that way than traditional, but I'd like to practice traditional again, just to see if I could get my speed up that way.
MARKETING for Crowdfunding?
SO those with completed comic projects---what is your advice for promotion before starting a kickstarter? Is anyone here doing that/have done that?

This would be a great subject for a course. I know every time I've tried crowdfunding, I've gotten my ass kicked.
