What are you Grateful for?
On a recent call with Nick Sweeney, he said something that has stuck with me (well, this is one thing, he's a man overflowing with wisdom) He said: "Gratitude is the ultimate state of receivership" We often get so wound up in all of the problems in our lives that we lose touch with the foundational things that really matter. - the air we breathe - the clean water we drink - the friends and community that we connect with - the freedom that we have to choose āI cried because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.ā - Hellen Keller Thanksgiving isn't limited to a 1-day holiday, it's an opportunity that we have access to every day of the year, every moment of each day. There's tons of scientific evidence that shows that a gratitude practice is incredibly beneficial for living a fulfilling and healthy life, yet there's a big gap between knowing something and acting on it.
