Hello everyone, my name is Michelle and I am located in Upstate New York, Syracuse. My 87 year old mother lives with me and has for the last 7 years. I am her caretaker. In July I moved my older brother in with us as he was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s and cannot live alone any longer. 3 years ago I quit my job of 25 years and started a new job which in normal circumstances would be my dream job. My want for 2026 is to figure out how I can get some part of me back - I feel I have lost all of me.

@Darla Corey thank you I appreciate the support. I was a such a social person who turned into a shut in who never leaves the house (and works from home). I am 59 and I cannot believe this is my life. I could not have imagined this in a million years. Especially when my brother was diagnosed at 59 with Alzheimer’s - I couldn’t fathom I would be caring for 2 family members and have them live with me. Then again - no one anticipates any of the crappy stuff life throws at me at them!❤️. Thank you for listening
