Going through it
When life's got you down, what are your go-to ways of getting through it?

To be honest , when I have more than one "crisis" at a time, I shut down and can't deal with anything . Eventually my husband gets me to do what has to be done by starting on his own or filling in for me when I can't show up .
ADHD Hack: Sensory Anchoring
Did you know that you can create flow states with sensory anchoring? Sensory anchoring means using a specific smell, texture, or sound to train your brain into different modes. For example, I create sensory anchors for getting into "focus mode" when I need to work by keeping a cedar block on my desk. When I'm ready to work, I smell the cedar block, turn on some medieval lo-fi music, set a pomodoro timer, and get to it. Now my brain associates medieval lo-fi and the smell of cedar with "It's time to lock in and get work done!" Have you tried sensory anchoring before?

Great advice and I'll definitely give it a try .
The only skill that matters
Funny… I moved into my new home yesterday. This morning, as I was unpacking my office to get ready for the work day, I stumbled upon an old box of books from many years ago. I used to be a very avid reader, and with this new home I figured what the hell… I want to pick up my reading habit and shift into the identity of a reader again. So I open one of my many boxes of books to see what I had inside. The very first book? The only skill that matters by Jonathan Levi. A book about learning to become a “super learner”. Speed reading. Memory enhancements. Learning how to learn. Funny how the universe works like that sometimes. I don’t think there’s a single book in my entire collection that makes more sense for me to read first than this one.

Rise & Shine: A 21-Day Challenge to Unlock Your Potential ☀️🦁
Today is February 1st—the first day of one of the historically most challenging months for me, and for anyone else who suffers from seasonal affective disorder. As my grandma loves to say, "February is the shortest AND longest month of the year." But today is also the full moon in Leo, for all you astrology nerds out there. (Looking at you, @Matthew O'Brien! 😉) And this full moon in Leo is calling you—calling ALL of us—to step into our power and f*cking shine! To honor this full moon in my sun & ascendant signs (yes, I'm a double Leo, and yes, I am proud about it 😂🦁), I am proposing a challenge: 🌅 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 & 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟭-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 🌅 For the next 21 days, I’m committing to sharing one lesson per day about: - 🧠 Business & entrepreneurship - 🌱 Emotional regulation & nervous system stability - 💰 Abundance, self-trust, and sustainable success - 🧘‍♂️ Becoming a more grounded, embodied human And I’m inviting you to do this with me. 🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 🔥 Keep it simple & real: - Post one lesson per day (or whenever you feel called) - Short is perfect (3–10 sentences is plenty) - No polishing, no perfectionism - Lessons can be from wins, mistakes, patterns, or realizations The goal is to step into your power, shine your light, and OWN who you are. F*ck RSD. F*ck being "too much". F*ck being "broken". This is your time to take up space and show how f*cking powerful you really are! There are no prizes here. No one is tracking or keeping score. Miss a day? Come back. This isn't about perfection. This is about seeing how much JOY and EASE we can bring into our practice. Let's rise together. Let's shine. Are you with me?

Day 2 for me in the 28 day challenge Grounding For a long time I thought I just needed better discipline, but really I needed better regulation. Becoming grounded has looked like slowing down enough to notice when I’m mentally rushing ahead of reality. A small thing that helps me is unclenching my jaw and dropping my shoulders , it tells my body I’m okay. Funny how something physical can quiet mental chaos faster than overthinking ever could. I still over think and probably will forever but now I'm able to recognize it and spiral less ❣️

@Sebastian Schroeder I'm trying to narrow it down because I start so many things that I don't finish but right now I'm focusing on my Skool community ( that I can't seem to get going ) and I have a merch line of EDA items in my Etsy store but the print on demand prices are so high I don't think the stuff will sell . I have a professional heat press in my basement so I'm thinking I might try to do the merch myself . I also started a natural lotion company , have all the supplies and logo done but haven't launched it yet because I didn't like the way the labels came out so that's on pause ... 🤣🤣 omg I'm really showing my adhd in this response lmao
