Just uploaded a new soft noise video on YouTube 🎧
I’ve just published a new soft noise track that may help with: - focus - sleep - calming your mind - blocking out distractions I know these kinds of sounds can be really helpful for some people with ADHD, so I wanted to start testing a few and sharing them. You can listen here: https://youtu.be/VfrHOLineUw If you try it, let me know in the comments: - what you used it for - whether it helped - and if you’d like more of these Also please give us a follow on the new YouTube channel!

I've listened to this and it is really nice and relaxing.
🤩 New free resource: ADHD AI Prompts That Actually Help
I’ve just added a new free resource to the Brighter Brains Resource Hub: Top 10 ADHD AI prompts that actually help. These are prompts you can copy into ChatGPT or Claude to help with things like: - task paralysis - overwhelm - focus - emotional regulation - planning - follow-through They’re the kind of prompts I’d actually use myself, and I think they could be really helpful if your brain feels full, stuck, scattered, or overloaded. You can find them here: RESOURCE HUB If you check them out, comment below with: - the one you’re most likely to use - the one you need most right now - or if you want, the ADHD struggle you’d love me to create a prompt for next Would be good to know what’s actually most useful for you all.

For me, these are the ones that I'm most likely to use: The Calm Communication Prompt The Decision Fatigue Helper The Follow-Through Builder The Emotional Reset Prompt The writing emails so they don't come across as rude, condescending, blaming others & sounds professional sounding or casual would really be beneficial.

Cheers Mark. I know what is like as sometimes I just send an email without thinking, or I'm told my emails come across sometimes as rude or condescending, or that I know it all when I don't, lol, so I think yes, it would be a good shout to create something like that for us.
Quick question for you all...
Do any of you use things like white noise, pink noise, brown noise, binaural beats, or similar for focus, sleep, calm, or blocking distractions? I’ve used a few of these in the past and they’ve definitely helped me at times, especially with focus and sleep. I’m thinking about creating some of my own, maybe on YouTube, to share here too, but only if it’s something people would actually find helpful. Poll question: Do these kinds of sounds help you? - Yes, a lot - A little - Not really - Never tried them And if you want, comment below: - which ones you use - what they help with - and whether you’d like me to create some

Just did. Love it!
Hey Everyone!
Hello, so pleased to be here on this new platform. I'm a recently diagnosed 'older' guy and have found it quite hard to adapt to this new diagnosis so I'm hoping this community is a place we can chat, recommend books and such, and come together a strong community!

@Mark F Sure thing. I love the way you write so everyone can understand. With humour and care. It's nice to be able to read something I can relate to. I do watch YouTube ADHD stuff but I find, unless they are from those that are experts or really understand it, it falls flat. So thank you. And by the way, I deliberately buy your books. That's the intention!

I like them. Obviously the science bit can get tedious but your way of lightening the reading it makes it bearable LoL
FloatVR+ For MetaQuest 2/3/3s
Just wanted to touch base with you all, especially those with a MetaQuest VR. I have joined a community called FloatVR, and it is especially designed for those of us with ADHD and neurodiversity by those with ADHD and neurodiversity. It's one of the only applications that absolutely works for me! It has different things you can do, from relaxing the mind, focusing, giving you more energy, and also allowing you to stop hyperactivity and procrastination. You float around in different environments, from vortexes to new worlds, with different colours and sounds. It never overstimulates you like a lot of the others that claim to help neurodiversity. I've also introduced them to ADHD UK, who may be doing something with them. Recently, doctors and psychiatrists and others have been testing it on their patients, and they have all reported back saying that this virtual reality application on the MetaQuest is now proven to work on those with our condition. They are actually now getting supported by them. I've attached the link here for you all, for those of you that have a virtual reality MetaQuest headset anyway. Please bear in mind that it's only MetaQuest 2, 3 & the 3s that it will work with. https://floatvr.io/early-access?utm_source=SendGrid&utm_medium=email&utm_channel=email&utm_content=footer-flvr-link
